I have been astonished at how much money some of you guys made in the month of May:thumbsup2 It has made me want to look into the reward sites more. My question...how do they handle taxes? do they mail you a 1099 or something? I wouldn't mind putting a dent in my September trip this summer!

If you make over $600 on any one site they will contact you for your tax information and send you a 1099 or W-9. Otherwise they will not send you a form but you will be responsible for reporting it on your taxes next year as other income.

What about identity theft or Credit card fraud? I am a little leary of putting so much of my info out there...have any of you long-timers had any problems?

I have not had any issues with CC theft, but I use Simon Visa 90% of the time.

No issue with identy theft easier. Then again if someone wants my identy God bless them! :lmao:

I'll start worrying about this problem when I hit $599 in a program in one year. :-)

Each program has its own way of handling this issue, so my suggestion is that if this is something you are worried about, when you hit $500 or so dollars in a program, email the program owner and find out how that particular program handles it...Then you can decide if you are ok with that and continue on, or if you are not you can cut down to just clicks or something minor to keep yourself active on the site, but not hitting the $600 mark.
