Is it possible for me to place a certain amount of money on my room key for charging purposes using cash rather than a credit card?

Will the resort just refund me in cash any amount left on the card at the end of my stay?

Yes, you can apply cash to the account to use for your charging rather than a Credit Card. Any remaining cash that you have not used will be refunded to you at check out.
