Newbie Q - Are there wait times boards at DL & DCA like at WDW?

Yes, they have a board you can check. It is on the left side at the end of Main Street, near the castle hub. I don't recall it having FP return times. I'm pretty sure it doesn't.

Unfortunately, Disney's California Adventure Park no longer has a Wait Time Board.

However, if you inquire with the Guest Relations Host or Hostess at the Information Kiosk in Sunshine Plaza, they will be more than happy to find out the current wait times for the major Attractions within that park.

No wait time board in DCA, but each ride will have its own wait time sign. Same with fast pass return times, each ride that offers fast passes will list its current return time so you can see before deciding to get a pass or not.

You should definitely get passes for Soarin, getting passes should be the first thing you do once you enter DCA. Tower of Terror as well unless the line takes you directly into the lobby, if so then its not really necessary but if you see the line winds around off to the left side, the outdoor area then FPs will probably be helpful. Unfortunately FPs are currently not available for Toy Story. If you'd like to ride the rollercoaster and the river rapids ride, FPs would be good too.

And you'll want to line up early for the Aladdin Musical Spectacular, at least 45 minutes.
