My dd (7) is very into the princesses, but Sleeping Beauty is her favorite. princess:
Is the Princess Storybook Dining the only character meal that features Sleeping Beauty? If so, do you recommend bkfast, lunch or dinner?

We also plan on doing Chef Mickey's and perhaps one more character meal, so for the following character meals do you (1) recommend it and (2) if so, which would you recommend bkfast, lunch or dinner

Cinderella's Royal Table
Chef Mickey's
Crystal Palace
Liberty Tree Tavern
GArden Grill
Ohana Character Bkfast
1900 Park Fare

Thank you. Thank you. Thank you.

We love the Crystal Palace for breakfast. It has Pooh, Tigger, Piglet, & Eeyore. We never miss it.

I recommend Princess Storybook for breakfast and if you time your breakfast just so we got out of breakfast last year right as world showcase opened and walked right on to Norway's ride.

Chef's Mickey is great for both breakfast and dinner. They offer a good enough selection for everyone.

Liberty Tree is great if you like turkey, ham, roast beef, stuffing, mac and cheese, and that. I enjoy it.

1900 Park Fare is better for breakfast, we had an 8:30 breakfast I believe on Saturday and saw the characters at least two or three times.

I vote for Chef Mickey's and Crystal Palace!

Unfortunatley I was disappointed Aurora was not at CRT for breakfast. We did see her in the toontown fair tent though!

We're doing 1900 Park Fare for the first time this trip because my dd is a big Cinderella fan now.

We saw Aurora at CRT and PSB in 2005. Those are the only character meals we have been to so far. One poster mentioned breakfast at 1900 PF, but keep in mind I believe the characters are different. At supper it is supposed to be Cinderella and Prince Charming. We will be trying that in December.

:) We saw Aurora at 1900 Park Fare a week and a half ago for dinner. She was with Cinderella, Prince Charming, Fairy Godmother and the mice. I believe breakfast has Mary Poppins.

The Princess Meal at Epcot is probably your best bet for finding Aurora. I think she sort of comes and goes at the other Princess meals, but I think she is pretty well stationary at this one (someone correct me if I'm wrong on that though, I don't want to give misinformation.) Aurora is my fav princess too, so I'm always on the lookout!! :rotfl:
As for you other one, in my opinion it would come down to a very close decision between the Crystal Palace and LTT. Both have good food, but I think it ultimately depends on what characters you guys prefer. If it were up to me, and I had to choose one of the two, I think I would go to CP.

CP is the best for breakfast. we love ltt for dinner, hands down best characture interaction in all of WDW.

I am taking 2 girls (10 and 3) this October and we are doing all TS character breakfasts. CP, Donalds Breakfastorous and Princess Breakfast. I figured it would be a great way to start the day, get early ADR's and if they do not eat that much I would not be wasting too much money like I would have if we went for dinner.....

So far I've reserved CP (dinner) 10/5 before MNSSHP, I wanted LTT but of course they are booked solid for any of MNSSHP dates between time I will be there which is 9/28 - 10/6. and also reserved the Princess Storybook bkfast for our last day (since we have early evening flight out)

Still have to decide on one more character meal, or maybe two more - Cha Ching - I hear the cash registers ringing
:lmao:

But its all worth it to see the delight on dd's face.
:teeth:

We did not like the princess breakfast at Norway. The food was subpar and the princess did not show up at our table until we were ready to leave. Very disappointing meal. About six years ago we had breakfast at 1900 Park Fair at the Grand Floridian. Very good buffet and lot's of princesses. We saw Cindy, Mary Popins, Alice, Snow White, and Minnie Mouse. There may have been others but I forget. The meal was great and our now 12 year old still talks about Alice and how nice she was :thumbsup2

Chef Mickey's for Dinner, Crystal Palace for Lunch and 1900 Park Faire are all must do's.

Also, Garden Grille is cute, but my DS likes it better than my DD. I also recommend restarauntasaurus (sp?) in AK for breakfast.

I'll put a vote in for CP lunch. Winnie and friends are always fun and I think the food is terrific.

We did the Princess Storybook in May and LOVED it. We went for Breakfast and saw Aurora, Belle, Mulan, Snow White and Jasmine. I would recommend going early if you do this breakfast.. we had a 10:20-- showed up at 10 and didn't get seated until 10:40. The wait is outside and it was HOT by then.. would try for the earliest seating next time. My DH loved the food and DD2 and DD4 loved the Princesses.

As for the rest:

Cinderella's Royal Table-- never done it, we were too late in our planning to get ADRS!

Chef Mickey's -- one of our absolute favorites-- a MUST do! We did this on the Saturday of one trip and during an afternoon break from MK on another. We really liked having an early dinner here (5 pm)-- we were the first ones at the buffet-- great food.. my favorite desserts of all the character buffets by far. Character interaction is great too-- we saw each of the characters twice during that last trip.

Crystal Palace-- been there twice. After the first experience (lunch) we didn't want to go back due to bad character interaction experience. We also thought it was hard for us to stop for a long lunch at MK-- we had a 1 and 3 year old at the time. As it turns out-- we got an 8:05 ADR there for our next trip and we LOVED it. It was a completely different experience! We saw all of the characters and were surprised that there weren't tons of kids when we went.. so we were out of there by 9 am. I am not a breakfast person, but the food at the breakfast buffet was AMAZING-- I would highly recommend going for breakfast! All of us loved it.

Liberty Tree Tavern--Did Dinner there before our MVMVP in 2004-- skipped last trip (and kind of regretted it!) We also loved this one. Some people have issues with the good here.. it is Stouffers.. but we liked it. This was again not filled with kids, so ours got lots of attention-- we saw each character twice, some three times.

GArden Grill-- chose this one instead of LTT on our 2006 trip. The characters are very simliar to LTT. I think the food is better at GG. The desserts were delicious. We did like the atmosphere at LTT better and the service was much better (faster). My biggest (and strange) complaint about the Garden Grill was that we were in one of those booths that faced outward and we felt claustrophobic! Our service was slow and you couldn't see/find your waiter. Also-- we were with a 2 year old and one of the benefits of a character meal for us is that she can see the characters coming and it keeps her entertained. NOT HERE. It was like eating in a hole in the ground for us-- but this was due to the 2 year old.

Ohana Character Bkfast-- never done

1900 Park Fare-- did dinner here this year. DD2 loves Cindrella.. this is the place for that! The food was good, character interaction great... I probably would pick another character meal though if Cinderella wasn't a fav. I though the food was better at all the rest listed about except LTT. (It was still good though)

If I had to pick three- I would do Storybook Breakfast (with an Aurora lover), Chef Mickeys for Dinner and probably the Crystal Palace breakfast. I actually would recommend all that we have been to.. just get a table at Garden Grill with a 2 year old!

good luck with your trip!

While the breakfast food at PSB isn't anything special, it was decent standard fare (with very good cinamon buns) and we enjoy it more than the lunch/dinner offerings.

Of the other places listed, I highly recommend 1900 Park Fare. Both the breakfast and dinner buffets are very good, character interaction is very good (great Cindy option)....and they have the strawberry (so good) soup at both meals.
