Newbie need info on SWA Ding?

Hi All: I have flight already booked with SWA BUF to MCO for 3 of us and paid approx. 950.00CAD total. I keep reading aboutding and see where to down load it. My question is if I book a ding rate what do I do with my original booking? Is there a spot to say you already have booking and to change it. Thanks

I just searched previous posts and possibly found what we are looking for. An old post said that she purchased the discounted flights and then phoned SW and had them credit her. She stated that she did not get $$ back to credit card.
But a credit voucher for that amount to use within the year.
