Newbie Kind of.....

Haven't visited this board since probably 2002 when my family was 'young'.
Now we want to go back..... and need a refresher. If a family of 5 (4) adults and one teen were to go back and stay on site - what would be the best option - space wise and money? Would we be better staying off site but could we rent for 10 days? We're looking at April next year - 10 days.
Any help would be appreciated. Don't know where to start.
I just noticed in our local paper a spring deal - $999 each including air fare, passes, etc at all start music. Is this good?

I don't know much about making plans for a family of 5..but the all stars have family suites now so that may be a option!!

Welcome back, Olivia! The ASMu family suite may be an option for you, a moderate resort, a FW cabin or two standard rooms could also work. Personally, I'd contact a Disney-specialist travel agency - they can get you whatever discounts are available and really help you with planning for the parks, making restaurant reservations and answering all your questions. Their services do not cost you anything, they are paid by Disney. If you'd like to use a Canadian Disney-specialist travel agency (used by our family and many of our family & friends), I'd be happy to let you know.
