newbie in need of some help

hey guys and girls. i was referred to your site by a friend with a much better disney knowledge base then myself and he thought i may be able to get an answer here. when i was younger, my grandfather left me a set of disney pins as a christmas gift, and seeing as how i dont have such an interest in them as many of you seem to have, its not doing me any good keeping them away in storage. ive been searching around on different sites including pin pics and found some info on the set but im not really sure what to do with them other then ebay. i dont have a great sense of their worth and was hoping some of you may be able to shed some light. i have discovered that a few of them seem to be highly sought and are "retired" and "rare". the set i am referring to is the coke' a cola 15th birthday set. they are all in a display case and have been in there since they were given to me. the case contains 27 pins, including characters and a larger center pin celebrating the 15th birthday. im not exactly sure what is on the back of the center pin (ive seen a few different possibilities) but i will have to check on that. i have also noticed many people interested in seperate pins but i would much rather sell the set as a whole. it would also make a great starter set for a future collector. any info or tips in a different direction to pursue would be greatly appreciated. thanks in advance!
