Hi everyone, I am a NEW scrapbooker. I have never made a book but I am addicted to buying supplies especially when they are on sale for so cheap. I love the confetti things, the shaped ones. Ok so Question 1 does disney have character shaped confetti? Question 2 is there a place other then DisneyWorld that sells disney products for scrapbooks? I have tons and tons of disney stickers I was wondering if there is other disney stuff out there somewhere. Question 3 How expensive is the WDW Scrapbook store that everyone is ga ga over? I am going to a Creative Memories Workshop with a friend on the 11th. I am excited about my first scrapping experience...can't wait...
I am leaving 3-25 for disney for a pin event so I am hoping to take some pics...Thanks so much

Welcome!!!!!!!!!!!

I think it's a good call to go to a Creative Memories workshop to help get you started and learn the basics. And Creative Memories has a few Disney items too that are quite cute! And just about every scrapbook store I have been in has a Disney section- papers, stickers, die cuts- look in your phone book yellow pages under scrapbook and I bet you will have a scrapbook store within 30 minutes! Or there are lots of websites to browse at----I'm not a big scrapbook online shopper, but I am sure some of the other ladies can supply some links...one off the top of my head is www.scrappix.com. As far as Disney confetti....I'm not sure. Have fun and welcome to our crazy world!

Welcome to the wonderful hobby/craft/art/adiction called scrapbooking. One of the on line sites you might check out is www.mousememories.com They specialize in Disney scrapbooking supplies. I believe they also have an idea gallery. Creative Memories will help you get started and learn the basics. Another site to check out is www.twopeasinabucket.com By looking at ideas and how others have used the same supplies, you will soon develop your own personal style.

Welcome to the DIS!
Lots of great ideas here!
My best advice is to slow down with buying and actually start scrapping just to make sure you will use the stuff!
They do have mickey mouse punches at Mike's or ACM to make the confetti heads.
The store at Disney is neat to go in but last year I wasn't too impressed with the stuff. I tried to use some of it to scrap my trip and had a hard time. The colors were really bad. Not Disney colors at all! So I don't know if they changed their packaging. But will in a few weeks! We arrive on the 28th!

Not only to the boards but our "obsession"! You've already discovered the buying part so it is only a matter of time until you are immersed in the actual scrapping part.

I have to echo the good idea to attend a CM workshop. While I didn't when I was getting started, I was scrapping with a friend who had and picked up lots of tips from her.

And that would be my suggestion, find someone locally (you probably already know them - just don't know they scrap) that you can work with from time to time. If you can't find someone than go to a crop and make a friend.
