Newbie here and a little confused...please help!

We have been to disney many times but not in a few years. I am a little confused about making reservations for meals. We are staying off disney property and I am not sure how far in advance we can make reservations. Last time we tried to make a reservation as walk ups and couldn't get a time before 9pm and since there will be 7 of us I'd like to plan ahead. Please help! TIA!

You can make reservation at the 90 day mark. Since you are off property you will have to call every day to make the reservations. On property you can call at 90 days and make reservations for the next 10 days. Example: your 1st day is July 6 2009 you can make your adr for that day on 4-7-08
for July 7th you would have to call back on 4-8-08 and so on.

As far as I know you can do it 90 days before your arriving date, and as you will not be staying on site you can not make reservations for all the days, so you will need to make several callings for each day to be 90 days apart from the day you will make the ressie.

It may sound like a daunting task, but with a party of 7 you will definitely need to do it if you want to get into some of the favorites.
