Newbie - Current Incentive Option Questions

Not sure why I said that, other than it is my sense that the developer's pts caused quite a crunch on reservation availability so I don't think they'd be so many of them given out that broadly again. I wasn't telling you of my deal to "show off" but more to say that the aspect of the sale where you cited getting all of the current year's pts as a selling ot is something I think you will alweays see. I think that is a standard part of the offer. The $500 disney rewards card I was referring to was good at either resort and it was a Disney Visa promotion rather than a DVC promotion.

I didn't think that you were showing off at all. I have been pouring over the boards the past few weeks prior to making our decision and asking questions about incentives and what past incentives were and what futures ones might be. I did not realize that was a standard thing to get the extra points. I thought it was unique because AK wasn't built yet that we were getting the points without the MF for 2008 and a bonus set of points for this year. Now I realize it was just a standard deal.....

The $500 Disney Gift card we received as an incentive for adding on at SSR is a regular Disney Gift Card. From the letter we received:

"You may begin using your Disney Gift Card immediately at select participating locations at the Walt Disney World Resort, the Disneyland Resort, onboard the Disney Cruise Line ships, as well as at Disney Store locations in the US and online at Disneyshopping.com"

Wonder if its not too late to get that reward since I just applied for a disney visa?
