Hi everyone!

I've been lurking here for a little while now just "taking notes" and trying to learn from all of your great advice. We're looking to plan our first trip to Disney, probably in January. It will be myself, dh and our two boys ages 3 1/2and 21 months (at time of travel). It will be the first trip for all of us! :yay:

We are most likely planning to stay at the WL and will be flying down from Michigan. We are having a hard time trying to decide how many days to stay. Several of dh's coworkers have told him that 3-5 days is more than enough time with the ages of our boys. I was thinking 8 days 7 nights. We would be going back to the room for naps and going at the kids pace. I feel like more days taking our time and enjoying everything is better. Honestly 3-4days just doesn't seem like nearly enough time. Your expert advice is welcome!

Anyway I'm sure I will have lots more questions so thanks in advance for all your help. I'm looking forward to learning a bunch!:goodvibes

I'm with the coworkers here. 3-5 days with young ones in January is going to be more than adequate time to do everything you can take them to! Though I say start saving now for that 8 day trip when the kids are closer to 9 & 8!

Are you going to try to get in on Free Dining? I think the promo ends 9/26 so you may have to make a quick decision! That will probably be the best situation for your family for right now.

Best of luck!

I would take at least a week. At 4 days with naps you would only have about 2 days to see the parks. There is no way to see all 4 parks in that amount of time. A week would be a lot more relaxing and you could see a whole lot more.:goodvibes
