Okay, some backstory: MIL and FIL have just upgraded our trip to now include the DxDP. I have never used it before and am completely lost. I know that this has probably been asked before. I have searched, can't seem to find what I'm looking for, so please forgive me.

If I check in at 5pm on Friday- check out on Monday at noon.
We got the DxDP.
1. When do my credits start and end?
2. I understand unused credits roll over to the next day. If by the end of my trip, I have leftovers credits can they be redeemed for snacks for our long car ride home??

1. Your credits are available day you check in and are good until midnight, the day you check out.

2. Yes, all credits are pooled and you can use as many as you like. You don't have to use a specific number per day. TS credits can be exchanged for 3 snack items per credit. Just let the CM know that you want to exchange credits.

For your dates, you have a total of 9 credits that can be used for TS or QS and you have 6 snacks. Those meal credits are worth about $30-32, and it really shouldn't be too hard to use all of them over your four days.

Now I understand you can split meals? Is this even allowed?

1. Not sure about splitting meals
2. Signature restaurants, Cinderella's Royal Table are two points.

You can split meals at most places, but if you already think you'll have credits left over, why would you split meals and end up with even more unused credits at the end of your trip?

I am not even sure how this DDP works. My DH cousin is the one who put the DDP into my in laws heads. She told them that they could do all this stuff. so of course she calls me. I'm just trying to make sure I know as much as I can before I get there.

You can share meals at most places (a tiny handful of restaurants might not allow it). You can use all 9 in one day or only 1. You can even pay for other guests not on your dining plan.

You can spend 30 snacks at one time (I have heard Ghiradelli choc bars are awesome for this!) or one at a time (like Venti sized Starbucks drinks!).

Signature restaurants cost 2 credits per person and can also be shared (we spent 6 DxDDP credits to feed 4 of us in a signature last March).

Thanks! Glad you are finding them helpful I'm irked though - all my photos in my reports have disappeared. I linked to my photos on Facebook and my guess is Facebook has changed the URLs for my photos, causing all my pictures to disappear. I've started using imgur for posting photos on forums now - just have to go back, hunt down all my photos and upload them to imgur and relink everything all again. Not too pleased with Facebook!

I linked to my photos on Facebook and my guess is Facebook has changed the URLs for my photos, causing all my pictures to disappear. OH NO!!!! that has to be completely time consuming! I wish you luck and let me know when the pics are up I'd love to see them
