Hi, I'm new to these forums and am looking for some information regarding a trip I have just booked.

We have booked a trip for 2 of us to New York (JFK) on the 1st January 2003 for 6 nights.

The cost of the return flights were £199.00 per person and we have booked into the Radisson Hotel on Lexington Avenue at a cost of £45.00 per night for a Double room. We made the hotel booking through priceline.co.uk and consider this a good price.

2 questions, was this the best price we could have realistcly hoped for and also has anyone stayed at the said hotel and can advise what the quality of the hotel is like.

Any other tips for when I am there, I have been to NYC last year and visited the main places, anywhere I might have missed.

Thanks

Andrew

Don't know about the flights(but I'd say good deal), but the Radisson, is a $139 a night hotel, so in my opinion, you've done okay.

I think you've got a brilliant deal!!!
We went to NY in October and paid £275 pp to JFK & stayed at a Marriot at around $205 per room per night (exc taxes).
We really enjoyed the visit - hope you do too.
Wrap up warm - it will be cold in Jan.....
Do post on your return & let us know how you got on....

I think that the New York City Rockette's Christmas Spectular Show will still be playing when you get there. It's quite a show, albeit a bit pricey. Here's their website.

Thanks for the reply :)

Happy that I have a good deal!!

I'll try and remember to post when I get back to say how it was!!

Thanks again

Andrew
