im just trying to get a little info on the New York to Port Canaveral cruise. For those of you who have done it, what were the seas like; how was the Disney day and would you do it again?

We did it last October. It was great! The weather was pretty good, it's neat how it gets warmer and warmer the first days - by the second sea day it's definitely pool time! We had fairly calm seas, just a little rocky on the way back up on one of the sea days. I loved being able to visit Disney World for the day but then I love the parks. We were lucky and had excellent weather on CC as well. We love at sea days so it was nice to get four of them. Fun to sail under the Verrazano, by the World Trade Center, and the Statue of Liberty. Overall it was another fantastic cruise, been on many from PC and they're great too, just different.

We did the DVC member cruise from New York to Canada last year. Our first night we had very rough seas so I'm a little concerned about having 2 nights of rough seas going down to Port Canaveral but who knows maybe, they won't be that bad. I like the idea of having a Disney World day. What time do you get over to Disney World?

We didn't do this one, but did a Bermuda cruise with RCL in very late September. We had upper 80's in Bermuda and the seas were like glass both there and back. The week before us was hurricane Hermine, and there are YouTube videos of how absolutely insane the waves were for our same ship/itinerary (& our housekeeper was still traumatized!). Point being, fall on the east coast is a crap shoot, so be prepared for, and OK with, all possible scenarios.
