New York, New York here I come

Just booked using airmiles for myself and DD as part of her 14th birthday present to go visit my friend in New York at the end of July I'm dying to tell her but her birthday's not till June!

I've never been and I'm soooooo excited

NY is brilliant. We have been a couple of times and dd loves the shops in NY especially Macys where she can get her dancing gear.

Be sure to take some comfy walking shoes. The first time we went we walked 26miles in four days. We literally walked everywhere.

Great idea Kaylee, I love it! her birthday falls on a Wednesday so I think I'll give her an apple to take to school then as Carol suggests I'll give her burger for her tea as she never has burgers at home followed by the cheescake, thanks for the inspiration guys

As for Friends Carol, she watches that almost constantly as it is
