So i have taken the leap and booked the Kyriad for 2 nights arriving on the 30th and going home new years day for our sons 13th birthday :cheer2::cheer2:

Luckily we dont pay for the hotel until we arrive so its now all hands on deck via ebay to try and secure flights/eurostar for the best price - the good thing is if the flights or eurostar come out under budget we can add an extra day :)

We are also toying with annual passes - Has anyone done them recently and how do you go about it ??

I am prepared for cold weather as we did december 2 years ago the only thing i was wondering about is if we went in around midday would that be ok to guarantee getting in ?

From what people have said i think studios will be where we see in the new year but am i right in thinking i can only get my annual passes in magic kingdom ??

***Good luck!**

***You need a proof of ID (driving license, passport or another photo ID). You will need to check out the blackout days to see if your chosen passport includes the days you are there. I think the only one valid is a Dream pass which is €210 per pass. You simply buy your temporary pass from the window next to guest services which is just pass the Disneyland Hotel and before the gates on the right hand side. Then you will need to make it a permanent pass inside the Annual Passport Office inside the main park, before it's closing, on the same day***

***You shouldn't have any problem getting in, but you might have to wait a bit to get through the gates as it will be busy***

***Correct. It's very rare for the AP office in the Studios to be open, so this must be done in the main park (love how you call it Magic Kingdom as technically it is, even though the name is now the Disneyland Park :-)***

Hope this helps, I've answered in stars *** as I am on my tablet :-)

Thanks for the reply - I will have the passports as ID and as we are going for new year we were going for the 210 pass as it makes sense to us

To me it will always be magic kingdom - i am old school lol
