New Years Eve Question

HI,
I have a couple of questions....

1. Does Disneyland usually fill to capacity on New Years Eve? If so, How early would you have to be there to get in? What about California Adventure?

2. If you are staying in one of the Disney hotels are you guaranteed entry to Disneyland that day?

Yes, DL and DCA fill to capacity on NYE, typically around 1pm for DL and later for DCA. DCA tends to be far more comfortable for the evening then DL which gets crazy packed. I have been to the parks the last few years for NYE, but honestly always go to DL early in the day and then over to DCA or Napa Rose for the ring in.

I have heard that only hotel guests and PAP can buy tickets/get in to the parks after they stopped selling tickets, but can only confirm for positive that the PAP's get in.
