New Years Eve fireworks dessert party at MK?

Dec 30 & 31 Fantasy in the sky at 6:30 and 11:50

Dec 23-29 Minnie's Christmas Fireworks at 8:15

Dessert parrties for all these fireworls are booked by booking the Enchantment party (some the pre-party, some the post-party, and some the seats and treats.

I booked post party at 6:50pm on Dec. 31

I searched yesterday and couldn’t see this. Today I see the schedule (calendar dates are highlighted blue until end of Dec), well I was able to click Dec 28 and now I don’t see hours again (won’t let me go beyond Dec 27). This is in safari so maybe a browser issue or it took a few minutes to recognize my ADR window opens tomorrow

Last year they did Enchantment and then Fantasy in the sky New Years Eve. It’s good that they have 2 shows for Fantasy in the sky (for families with young kids). The video below is really good - shows crowds for each:

My ADR window opens tomorrow and I’m not too hopeful.

They need a LlI$ for this instead, but I suppose that would make sleeping in even more challenging and a bad start to the day if you don’t get it.

The website wouldn't recognize me as having resort reservations. I had to log in again and showing only 1 adult available for after dessert party on 12/31 (first show). I was able to get the pre party for 12/31 for the first show only (second show at midnight is all gone).

12/28 I was able to book a pre party 6:45 (so that’s for the 8:15 show I believe).

waiting for adr window to open in few minutes. nothing (regular ADRs; dessert parties opened at midnight) opened at 5:45 am. I still show availability for the pre party on Dec 31 (5 pm so for first show) and Dec 28 (6:45 so for the second show) for 5 people.

Enchanting extras are messed up. Horseback riding didn't open until 8:20 am and I was still trying to get Fantasmic Dining

Thanks for all the updates. At least now I know the dessert party won't be an option for a party of 7 unless we get a cancellation. We're not eligible to book until Monday, and it sounds like it's already sold out. I've already set up some alerts for cancellations. Good luck, everyone!

There is availability for the pre party on Dec 31st for the first show (I see availability from 12/29-1/3 for a party of 7). The app doesn't show me beyond 60 days. So you have to use a browser.

Also you can still cross your fingers for the midnight 12-31 pre party. That one didn’t sell out because it was never released. Keep an eye out for when that becomes available.

I'll now answer my own questions from above in case anyone else is wondering:

What I booked is called "Magic Kingdom 50th fireworks dessert parties: Disney Enchantment After Party" on Dec 31 at 6:50pm (which I'm guessing is after the 6:30 show).

I really hope this is Fantasy in the Sky, not Enchantment. The party I booked is listed as Enchantment, but based on the earlier press release, I think they said Enchantment won't be shown that week, but instead it will be a Special NYE fireworks show (I assume Fantasy in the Sky).

I booked it because it is the only dessert party available so far to book, however, it will turn out to be the one I want to keep as long as the show really is Fantasy in the Sky (or new NYE fireworks show). I will probably switch it if they only do the NYE fireworks at midnight though, but that dessert party isn't available to book right now.

Keep us posted after going how it was.

Did someone report here that the dessert party for the 12am fireworks show hasn't been released yet for Dec. 31st? We still can't book this reservation until tomorrow, and I see that the 6:30pm pre-party is now sold out. Is there still hope for the 12am dessert party?
