I am making my park reservations and wonder which park is best for New Years Eve. I know celebrations will be different this year but I would love some advice from anyone who's spent the holiday there. Thank you so much!

Would do Epcot since it is the best candidate for fireworks to return given the ability to spead crowds around world showcase

Magic Kingdom most crowded but best fireworks (360°)
EPCOT best for adults, lotsa drinking and more space to disperse crowds. Better food as well.
DHS - Smaller crowds, and easier to leave after midnight.
AK - closes early but great park for morning and perfect for hopping later...

All of this is pre-pandemic so not sure even Disney knows what NYE 2022 will be like.

I am considering books a week with NYE in the middle of the week. All parks have availabilty. I am torn between MK and Epcot on NYE. Anyone have new thoughts now that it is getting closer to that time of year.

I’ve been to DW a few times over New Years and I’d always choose Epcot. :)

MK only with a dessert party, which I doubt returns this year. Stick with EPCOT and go to MK on the 30th, they do the same fireworks on the 30th. Do not even think about driving and if. you can book an EPCOT resort to make the end of the night somewhat tolerable. It can take 3 hours to get out of the parks on NYE if using Disney transport.

Will be doing New Years there for the first time. Planning on Epcot for New Years Eve. I know Epcot is popular for New Year and crowds will be big. I'm wondering if people think it will be possible to make a reservation at a different park (like Hollywood) for the morning and then hop into Epcot in the afternoon, or should I make a reservation for Epcot and just plan on being there for 14+ hours??

With a reservation you are guaranteed entry at any time throughout the day. There would be no need to go early and stay all day. Capacity is controlled by the reservation system...

Doing Epcot for NYE. actually switching our resort our last two nights to the Swan so we can walk back to our resort instead of fighting crowds on transportation.
