New Year's Eve At Ssr Question

Hi We will be spending our first New Year's Eve at SSR this coming year and I was wondering if anyone could tell me if they have any special activites at the resort that evening and also if there are fireworks from Downtown Disney.

I think I remember reading in another post that there are fireworks at DTD... I'd have to search around to try and find it... in the mean time I'll just be subscribing for a refresher on the info.

BTW, we'll be at SSR for NYE too (requested Congress Park, so I'm hoping for a view of DTD just in case - though we'll probably end up at MK and battling the horrific crowd)...

We'll also be there (30-3). We asked for the Springs. We're thinking of going to MGM for the evening. Possibly trying for CRT and MK that morning.

Hi Everyone,

we stayed at SSR for NYE 2004/05 and it was great! There were fireworks on the lake, and if you are at Congress Park facing DTD, and look to either side of you, you can see the Fireworks for Epcot and MGM - it was Great! Also at the pools, all of them the quite pools they have activities, games and music from like 10pm till 12:30 -
