Julie - welcome aboard:cool1: The fish extender group sounds like fun, will look forward to that next fall, and maybe keep it a secret from the rest of the family, so that they just think people are leaving us gifts:banana: My girls are going to be close in age to your daughters, Morgan will be 15 1/2 and Bailey will be 13 1/2 at the time. Glad to know they will have some friends.

Thanks for your welcome! It is good to know that there will be some nice teens on the cruise that can hang out together.

How exciting! More DISfolk onboard! :woohoo:

Hi Julie! DH, DS and myself will be over on the West Coast next summer enjoying the last Mexican Riviera cruise before you guys collect the Magic and bring her back to Port Canaveral...

BTW Cindy and Julie, any WDW plans before/after the NYE cruise???

We're negotiating the WDW plans. They would more likely be before the cruise instead of after, and I'd love to be in WDW on Christmas, so we'll see. What was the candlelight procession that was described somewhere back during the past 157 pages??? See Aisling, I actually got through the whole thread over the course of yesterday, and DH is making his way through it now (I think he's on page 16).

We're going on an Adventures by Disney tour in July, which is our next big Disney thing. I didn't see any mention of those throughout the thread. Anyone gone on one or thought about it?

Nan, I just want to say that I admire your courage immensely and I hope your mom is doing well. The emails about her, and the support from this group, were really touching.

Here's some more info, Cindy... We did the Candlelight Processional in 1998 for our DD's 16th birthday so definitely intend to repeat the experience 10 years on! DH, DS15 and myself will fly over on December 20th and I know DD25 wants to be there on 23rd for her birthday. Not sure about the remaining members - depends on work commitments! ;)

Oooh which one are you guys doing, Cindy??? I'd love to do one of the Italian tours and the Costa Rica one sounds fab too. We're pencilling it in for 2009 as just so booked up vacation-wise till then...

Great link. The candlelight procession sounds beautiful and moving.

We're going on the Southwest Splendors tour. None of us have ever seen the Grand Canyon (can't believe both my parents and my DH's parents skipped that), and we're very excited. Sedona, the Grand Canyon and Moab. The trip reports have been excellent. I'd love to do Costa Rica or Peru as the girls get a little older.

Now, DIS lesson. How do you get the quotes to appear in a separate box from the rest of the message? I'm such a newbie!!

OK I'll try and help.

As you read this post, you'll notice a link in the bottom right corner that says "quote". Click on it and the "Reply to thread" box will open but with my post already shown in it. You can then type your reply in the clear space underneath my quote - keep well away from all the square brackets...

Is that clear..? As mud?? Give it a try...

OK, I've tried, but that's what I did earlier this morning, and it just came out looking like regular text...

It looks like it has worked this time. Perhaps it's the computer setting. I'm on my office computer (don't tell) now, and earlier I was at home. Hmm...

My Blackberry did that, it was very hard to tell a quote from a comment cause it didn't show the quote box. I have a feeling your setting on your pc are similar to what my handheld had.

Look what I found, this will be us at dinner on the cruise!

I was just thinking the same thing!!!!!!

:lmao: We got us alotta DISers going on this trip~:thumbsup2

In case any of you are wondering, I took down the tshirt site for now. It's not worth the money to maintain the site just yet. By next fall I expect to start ordering mine.

For those who may have missed it, I made a couple logos for us to wear if we want to be identified as Magic Mateys. Everyone can have access to them because I post them to a public site and you could buy independently.

These are pictures of the Logo Karen and Dom came up with on our Christmas 2005 cruise...

Hi All,

I've been lurking and wanted to check in.

:welcome: Julie, Elizabeth, Katherine, Meredity, Cindy, Matt, Samantha and Charlotte.

We are growing by leaps and bounds! Our group pictures are going to be great.

I missed getting in on the Mamogram talk and I hate to be left out so here goes. I haven't had a Mamogram since my breast reduction over 11 years ago. I know, I'm bad. :rolleyes1 I remember it being very unpleasant and couldn't believe how meny pictures they were taking. I guess I shouldn't have been surprised since I was a 40G. :scared1: Finding bras was always a challenge and I wasn't happy about hanging down to my waist when I was only 35. :sad2: I am now a C cup and I like being perky at 47.

Kaz, there is no way that you and Richard have been married for so long. You both look so young and hip. I love your trip report. Had you memtioned going to Disneyland before we all cruise? If so when?

I don't know about the rest of you, but I'm ready for a long cruise RIGHT NOW!!!!!!! I may need to settle for more then a few drinks with the girls from work. It seems like everyone in my office is so stressed in their personal lives and at some point we are all going to blow. That won't be a good thing!

Hugs to you all,

Hey Debbie!

It's wonderful how our merry band of Magic Mateys is growing! Come one, come all... :goodvibes

So glad you're enjoying my trippie! Tomorrow I'll be knuckling down and getting on with the Vow Renewal installment - I'm taking my time over that section as I want to do it justice. Young and hip eh? Why thank you milady! :thumbsup2

We'll be checking into the Disneyland Hotel on August 17th for 6 nights after the Mexican Riviera cruise...

I know exactly what you mean about the b00bs! Like you, I had a breast reduction - just over 2 years ago now (we toasted my surgeon on the cruise!) and it's the best (or breast  ) thing I ever did! No more excruciating back pain for one thing and I definitely appreciate my girls still being perky... ;)

And with that, I'll bid you adieu...

ahhhh...i'm SOOO jealous...i really want a reduction / lift...and i may just end up having that done! with or without DH's blessing~

I'd like to look at the Adventures, but aren't they much more $$$ than one can plan on ones own??? I'm totally into the Disney sites, as they are Disney and I even don't mind the premium price, but for some reason I find myself getting a little peeved at the adventure prices. With that said, I have to go look at the Grand Canyon one, I've always wanted to go and take the kids, so perhaps this will be the motovation....

Cindy, thanks for your compliment, I don't feel worthy of it. I think my mom has had the harder time, and she has been my role model of my life so I'll just believe that she is shinning thru me these days and I'm doing just what she would do for me if I had ever needed her too.

Again, thanks for pointing me to this. Paul has been saying Costa Rica lately too, but I think the Southwest Splendors may just be the ticket for sooner rather than later.

ok, now how to I fit Toyko Disney into that plan too??? :lmao: :lmao: :lmao: four down one to go.

Look what I found, this will be us at dinner on the cruise!

Ok that I will take on. I don't think I'll have the everynight family photo session again on this trip, but you know I'm a photo ho!

Kaz, Brenda & Nan,

It sounds like a mini meet in August 2008 would be a GREAT! idea. party:

hmmmmm adults/girls only....Debbie drive to my house, we load up my van, grab Karen and ROAD TRIP!!!!!!! I'm in!!!!

I've been lurking everyday but so wiped out that I don't have the energy to post.

We've been totally girl scout, go-kart race, school friend, pumpkin patch crazy these last few days. I'm going to try to get some pictures posted tomorrow.....

going to the :happytv: to relax. Talk with you soon!
