So sorry you didn't make it - but totally understand...it WAS fun....we ended up at Left Bank for dinner - it was good...and spent the rest of the night at Rosie McGann's....okay....we don't go 'clubbing' so much anymore & boy has it changed from when we did.....but felt good to feel soooo young even got accused of turning 30...so just went with that till my DD had to go & tell the truth.....what IS UP with that??????

I had my head buried in all my Creative Memories stuff, tomorrow I intend to watch the training videos while everybody is at work. John is leary about my taking on being a CMs rep...I like the idea that besides get togethers I can eventually host scrap parties (Great Gatherings?) It's a way of mixing it up a little - by having people not only buy the product, but also make time to work with it together.

I worked on my class choices again today too. I talked to my sister and she thinks I need a full 12 credits to qualify for a tuition waiver. My requirements are only 7 credits so I picked video editing and event production to fill my quota. The drawback is that I can only register for classes the day before they start. One day. THat's it. If I miss it I lose out and if my classes I want are full I have to pick something else.

well it sucks but looks liek we wont be going im so sorry but between now and then (counting my yearly money next sep) we could save 5 or 6k and thats enough for a down for a house with this stuff i found.. and I have to think smart here we are gona try to buy a house. so next year no vacation

I have done NOTHING today...caught up on some tivo'd stuff....caught up on some sleep & will be leaving for Santa Cruz about 5:30.....

boy....feel like i've eaten / drank SOOOO much lately....need to hit the gym in the a.m & stick to WW like it was my 1st day ever....

I had a mammogram yesterday, and I was so nervous, because a few years ago when I had one, it hurt like heck! So I had a couple of shots, no kidding, because when I have alcohol in me, you can stick a pin in me and I wouldn't feel it. So this time, my mammo was painless, and I had a nice buzz for the afternoon!

OMG what a great idea, Aisling! I last had a mammogram about four years ago and it was agony!

Plus they got a blurred image and I had to have my left bazoom squished to a pancake all over again! I was ready to throw a few punches at the end of that appointment, I can tell ya!

definitely not my favorite appt.....geessshhh it's 2007 and they still do this procedure they way they did DECADES ago....we need someone to develop a machine....where you stand up...and the machine kinda just goes around you & does a body scan!

I'm a little intimidated to be joining such an amazing and long thread, but I just found it! We're also booked on the 2008 New Year's Eve cruise. When we booked, it seemed like forever and a day away, but just this past Sunday over dinner we were talking about how much closer it is, although we all agreed that we wished we were going THIS New Year's Eve. We took a 3-night cruise (first time cruising for all of us) and loved it so much that we had to book something else as soon as possible. We truly can't wait. So hi to all!

I am DH Cindy 43 (Dis name is Cindy18). My DS is Matt and he's 44. One DD is Samantha, 12 and the other DD is Charlotte, 10. We're from New York and we'll be early seating.
