Hi all~ well i made it home safe & sound! with fewer airline problems than the trip out! THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU Aisling, Colleen & Rose! How very wonderful to meet you and spend time with all of you, and Aisling, we are so appreciative of you picking us up from the airport, and for sitting with Lora waiting for my flight to arrive!!!! What a truly wonderful time we both had!!!!

Colleen - Love the pics from photopass, but need the ID no. to get into to place an order...???? and for some reason, i'm not able to start the slideshow, but going to try that tonite too on my home computer...

Well, I received my passport today. It took 1 month exactly. I guess by getting at this time of year it might be quicker.

I'm glad I was able to do something for you girls. Getting the pirate pictures & making the discs was my pleasure.

Please let's keep Nan in our thoughts and prayers. She really really needs it. Her mom is going to have breast cancer surgery, and Nan is very worried. Nan, we love you, and are with you in spirit.

Good morning,

I'm on my way to have my hair cut for Locks of Love, the organization that makes wigs for children who have lost their hair to cancer treatments. It's going to be strange having short hair, as I haven't had shortish hair since I got married, when it was a shoulder-length bob. But it's worth it to me, and it'll grow back, right, so if I'm mortified by by new look, by next summer it'll be longish again.

Brenda, I don't know if you allow Ryan to play Halo 3, but Jesse and Chad got it yesterday, so if Ryan plays, he may want to look them up on the live game. Jesse sent Ryan a Friends Invite.

This afternoon starts the first day of religion class, and I'll be teaching again for the 8th year, 5th grade. Every year I always say it'll be my last, but then I feel God tugging at my heart to continue. And you can't fight God. Well, you can try, but you always lose!

Jade, good luck with your wisdom teeth extraction today. Don't be scared. I had it done, and it didn't hurt. Just have a shot of good whisky before going to the dentist, and that'll be insurance that it'll be totally pain-free!

I'll check in later, and maybe post a pic of my new doo!

Aisling...your hair will look ADORABLE cut short...hey we might even look like twins!!!!!! and some child will have a gorgeous new wig....we have two 'guys' here who grow their out pretty long for the same reason....

Ryan doesn't have halo3 yet.....only because he didn't preorder it & i thought it was coming out in November (at least that's what MS said a year ago)...so i didn't pay any attention that it was coming out so early....Ryan did say he got the invite from Jesse...so if he hasn't gotten online with him yet - he will....he's pretty restricted from Xbox right now during the week anyway, till i see that Calculus grade back up to an A or B......he's having a friend over this wkend who has it & is bringing it....so i'm sure they'll be online.

Good luck with your new group of 5th graders & keep teaching....they need you!!! I bet you're a fabulous teacher and the kids love you!!!
