...when I was a kid, we went every year. It's only 20 minutes away by subway from my house to midtown, so no worrying about parking. When my kids were little, we did the parade and especially the balloon inflations the night before, but they can't be bothered with the crowds anymore. The Christmas tree lighting is next week, and I just might go by myself!
...I'm so in the mood for a slice of pizza! Anyone wanna deliver??![]()
...kaz...how did Dinah's appt go with the vet? i remember that Niner had some cream that we rubbed into his coat after bathing....but i thought he had something oral too....but not sure on that...he's been gone such a long time now....but i really do miss that boy - he was definitely my shadow...
waiting for my coffee to finish brewing...hoping to have a chance to shop for new coffee maker today....want to check out the one Nan has...but it wasn't anywhere that i was yesterday....
okay I jinxed my coffee maker. This morning it brews 4 cups...it was set for 10 cups. Something must be stuck in the line. So Sad![]()

We have hard water here, I guess it's time to use the vineagar flush. No fun and stinky.
Sorry to hear of your doggie's coat problem.
Our dogs have been itchy like crazy this season too. Paul took Casey (the 15+ year old one) to have a bath this morning. She looks better. She is not doing so well these days. We suspect she is on her way soon. It's hard she wanders around barking all day (right now) at nothing. She barks at the door, we let her out she turns and barks to come in, but can't see the door is open so barks until we offer her to come in.
I'm off to get ready for a funeral today. Our school principal's ex-husband. Sad story died young, 60 something. I didn't know him personally but we are good friends with principal and her partner.
Paul is working on the tulips in the yard. Molly is helping, she is translating between the laborers and Paul.
Better move it, or I'll be late!![]()
Poor Dinah
As long as she's leaving those puddles, I can tell you she is not dehydrated~
Is she going back for a checkup?
I would go back for at least that or maybe even get a second opinion on the cause~
Hi everyone,
Chad's been working on papers/presentations for school. He's taking classes like International Peacekeeping and the Post-Soviet Republics. What happened to the long-haired sandal-wearing poet I'd thought he'd be when I first looked at his face when he was born???? I even wrote it in his baby book. I got myself a buzz cutted, Constitution-thumping Conservative Republican instead!!

Wanted to go see Enchanted today while we were at the mall...but Ryan didn't want to.....so guess i have to wait for the DVD
Hey Aisling - Even though they were awesome - the 70's are gone. Kids went & got smart on us. (even though they don't know how to wear pants). excluding Chad of course.
I have a new partner at work. His name is Mel.
Sounds like a plan~or perhaps you and I need to have a mini dis movie meet????
I want to see it too & I'm sure Molly would be up for it. Let's talk next week some time and see if we get it together.![]()
hummm...ryan still wears his baggy...but at 6'1" & 130 - i don't know that they make any 'tight' enough for him.....just took him shopping yesterday - bought two pairs of jeans & a pair of slacks - both are 30W & he DEFINITELY needs a beltJill, Chad went through his baggy-assed pants phase hanging off his body. He'd buy size 38 waist instead of his size 34, with no belt! And now Jesse wears skin tight jeans, go figure!!!! Gimme back the 70s anytime!![]()
About your Mel, poor you!![]()
