Welcome home!!!! well i just didn't realize (more like didn't think about the fact) that you & DD were going to be there THE EXACT same week as Rus & Michelle....who you could have met up with...DUH!!! talk about being blonde!

sounds like a fabulous time & can't wait to hear more!!!!

Thanks Brenda! Shame about Rus and Michelle - where were they staying?

L-O-V-E your scrapbook pages, Brenda!!! When I'm settled back into the routine of home, I'd really like to talk more about digital scrapbooking with you! BTW my nearest airport is London Gatwick... :lmao: ;) :rotfl2:;) :lmao:

Kaz, welcome back! What amazing luck you had being upgraded. I can't wait to read all about your trip!
Thanks, Aisling! I think we were upgraded as the hotel was full, full, full!!! And instead of the two queen beds we'd requested, the room had a daybed which was a bit of a shame for Sophie (yes, I commandeered the king!;) ) but we felt the upgrade was more than worth the discomfort... :goodvibes

And now I think I've caught up... :woohoo:

Update on my mom, the oncologist was primarily worried about mom's heart issue and we are now going back to the cardioloist tomorrow and then primary care doc on Friday. Mom also had a fall on Monday. This is the big worry. If she is put on blood thinners and she has a fall it could be bad news.

We will address after cancer drugs in the next few weeks. Her cancer was estrogen postive (that isn't good) so he does advise some kind of drug (the names escape me) first we have to do bone dentsity tests as the side effects are osteoporosis (which she allready suffers from)

Other than all that she is doing ok. We had a nice lunch together and I can just ask for more of those times to enjoy.

Brenda:

Loved your scrap pages. & found that invoice :rolleyes1 okay and paid it
too!!!

Kaz, congrats on your tripie upgrades. Please link your TR in our thread.

T: what's up? :cool2:

A: hey :dance3:

J: rock on ! (I'm getting lame on hi's now huh?) :rolleyes1

J&D: Where are those 1 year bday pictures? We never got them. popcorn::

I'm headed out with DH for a bit...

I'll be back to update everyone on my new life of leisure ;)

Kaz, I am almost ready to get started with CM,

just waiting on my package delivery and the training will begin :woohoo:

Good Morning Magic Matey's,

Kaz, Welcome home and thanks for updating your trip report. I am so excited to read it. I just may have to put of doing my work and do that.:surfweb:

Nan, Jeff's mom has alzheimers and we had her living with us for about a year. He promised her that he wouldn't put her in a care facility. Unfortunatly, with both of us working and being her care givers at night and on the weekends it was not good for us. When her day time care giver gave her notice, we decided that it was the best time to make that move. Jeff was so distraught about not keeping his promise and even though he got several opinions, he still blamed me. Elder care is very difficult.

Aisling,

Colleen, it sounds like you are enjoying your time off. Maybe this will give you time to find something you absolutly love to do. I left AT&T (which was Pac Bell and then SBC) over 2 years ago and am so happy that I did. I love my job and the people I work with. My manager (who is the Office Manager), is retiring in January and I will be getting her job. Which means more money and more vacation time. :woohoo:

Brenda, please send me your photopass code.

I just sent an email to the college, they have a real estate appraisal program and I was asking how I can incorporate that into my current study since REA comes in under Business Administration...

besides that, I am hoping the Creative Memories program works out for me...I am anxious to get my package, I'm kinda in limbo til I can see what I am working with. Brenda, any idea how it will arrive? USPS, UPS or Fedex???

Britt and me are going to get haircuts today...it's cuts for the cure which means whatever I pay them goes to help breast cancer. I am also having them dye my hair for me...I have too much hair to do it on my own anymore, it's another treat I am giving to myself ;)

I honestly have to come up with something that pays really well if I am ever going to pay the cruise off for the end of next year...I haven't really thought about it since I left but losing this last job could hinder our going :(

My alternative? Rose's summer bay house is available for the end of next year and would be ALOT cheaper for me than the cruise. I am NOT backing out...just giving y'all a heads up. Worst case, we can visit with each other in WDW instead~

Kaz...i think Rus & Chel were at Sarosota...they are members there...now...regarding the CM software for MAC...CM is working on it & WILL have it available in the near future....i'll be sure to let you know when!

Nan...i love it that you're the one paying our invoices!! i'm really hoping your client's product makes it big time and they'll need to really increase their order with us next year....we can get together & it's more tax deductions or exp. rpts :-)

Colleen...how much hair are you having cut? OHHHHH...i don't even want to think about you possibly not doing the cruise...okay - we need to get you working CM on a BIG scale!!!! Book just 1 class or show (3 hrs work)for each week...you could avg $1K just for those 12 hours / month...Bump it up AND recruit...recruit....recruit!!! you'll get commissions from your downline....we'll talk more

I read the current Scraps while waiting for Britt to get done today.

I got alot of details from that. No package yet, I'm hoping it shows up tomorrow. I will need a full day at least to go thru everything and already have my sister lined up for my first show.

I had two inches cut off, it needed it, the hairdresser even said so. I let Brittany get her hair dyed instead of me. With the haircut mine looks perfectly healthy now. Brittany has a habit of getting hair dye all over my bathroom when she does hers so I splurged and let her get it done for real this time. It looks really nice. She picked a black base with really red-not auburn- highlights.

I confirmed that the state will pay for my business admin classes but probably not the Real Estate Appraisal classes. REA is a non credit course, looks like I would have to pay for that myself. I like the idea of being an appraisor instead of an agent. I'm thinking anybody who wants a mortgage needs an appraisal done, at least in NJ they do...why not be the appraisor?

When your kit arrives, i hope they sent you the new magazine "Empowering Women" it's good...i haven't gotten thru all of it yet.....but think you'll really enjoy reading about some of these gals....

Brit's hair sounds nice....you're a sweet mama & i'm sure she really appreciates you!!!

The kit list says I am supposed to get that mag...it has a disclaimer at the bottom saying there's a chance I won't get stuff on the list too

It'll be like Christmas, I can come back and tell you everything I got if you'd like ;)

speaking of Christmas...tomorrow's list starts with "go thru the dozens of totes of christmas decos I've got." I was considering doing a table at the flea market and it's the perfect time to sell christmas decos and ornaments if I'm gonna sell anything~

Just to let you know that I've finally started my cruise trip report! :woohoo: I've posted Days 1 & 2 - just another 7 to go... :surfweb:

Tig, I hope your CM package comes today so that you can get started. While you're waiting, get into those Christmas decorations boxes! Sell what you don't want/need, because every little bit of extra money helps! Like Brenda said, I don't even want to imagine you not coming on the cruise!

Nan, I don't know what to say about mom. I have a heavy heart for you having to deal with all the medical issues, but God bless you for being such a devoted daughter. Now get out and have some fun this weekend!

Debbie, thanks for the hug!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Kaz, loving your trip report!

TGIF everybody!

Gonna go read Kaz's updates after I let Penny out...

Nan, I totally agree with Aisling, you are a doll but you need to have some fun...if I find out you didn't go over to Santana Row for at least one drink Ima gonna kick yo butt! Brenda, make sure she goes please~

Trust me guys, I can still make this cruise happen, I just gotta find the path to it first~ :magnify:

sorry to disappoint. I was in my mom mode. Molly had dance until 6pm, then I went to pick up her friend for an overnight, by the time I looked at the DIS it was almost 9pm.

Next time for sure...

Hope you guys had a great time. Santana Row can be fun fun fun....even if it's just the eye candy. :lmao:

Hey there, hi there, ho there!!!

Wishing you all a wonderful weekend! I'm happy, happy, happy as my youngest DS, Samuel, is home for half-term! :woohoo: It's a two week mid-term break and I'm so pleased to have him around - with all my trips I've really missed my little guy! Sadly, I only get the pleasure of his company for one week as he's off to Biarritz in France next Saturday for a French language trip. :( I know he'll have a fab time tho' so I'm not too dismayed...
