:rolleyes1 I can find out, I pay the bills ya know.

:confused3 why are you asking, are you in the strawberry business? Sorry if I missed that.

It's really cool to have a client that actually has something that other people can relate to. For years I've listed my techno famous clients to people and they smile and nod. Now I can say have a drink :yay:

yep....i'm in the strawberry business...and Maverick is a new customer of ours...thru a broker from So. calif~

I better make sure I pay those bills huh?

so did you know of them prior to my post?

perhaps we should email these details, huh?

I'm just sitting here

enjoying the show

thinking of my sisters

and my pirates and princesses

and thinking of all the magic

Peace!

i have completed 9 which i'm picking up from costco today.....

Those are cool - so you do them online, and then print them out? How much does this cost? I try to do my scrapbook, but never have the time. I need to get someone to do it for - any takers?

well...you do them with a NEW program that Creative Memories came out with in September....once they are all completed - you upload them to Costco.com & they print them at 2.99/page...which really is a good price as CM Photo charges 7.99 page.....uggghhhh (& I'm a CM cons & won't pay that price)....plus i just go to the local costco to pick them up so no shipping either....now i just donated a full completed scrapbook of the highest bidder's choice to the fundraiser i'm coordinating for my son's high school....want to bid on it? it's valued at $650 which is what i get for a completed album when i do someone's for them.....

Not necessarily...it's code, not everybody gets'em

Aisling! PM coming! Photopass related!!!

The photos expire in a few days, I am buying a book-they are $70. It's the cheapest way I could come up with to get a copy of all of the photos. Brenda is buying prints on her own. The CD, she and I have determined, is too expensive for 20 photos-that woulda been over $120.

Brenda, your scrapbook looks awesome!

Kelly, you should at least enter to try to win, it's a great deal~

Aisling....if you order some of the NYC WOD prints...be sure to take advantage of the BOO20 promo code for 20% discount....i forgot to enter it....

Hi all!

Just thought I'd let you know I've returned from 11 days in WDW with my DD - we had an amazingly fab time that was enhanced with a liberal and unprecedented sprinkling of pixiedust:...

Upon check-in, we were upgraded at the Yacht Club to concierge level which was rather special and somehow Magic Your Way tickets plus the DDP were thrown in too! As you can imagine, we were blown away... :cloud9:

Naturally, we over-indulged at EPCOT's Food & Wine event but, for us, the highlight of our trip was definitely Around the World on a Segway - if anyone's ever been tempted to try this tour, I say go for it! :goodvibes

For the first time, I hired a car and we got out and about - shopping at Florida Mall and visiting the town of Celebration. We dined in some new restaurants for us - Jiko was our favourite and we are looking forward to staying at AKV in the future...

We were shocked at the crowd level - EPCOT was packed every time we ventured into the park but MNSSHP was less heaving than we'd been led to believe. Oh and I loved the HalloWishes fireworks...

Anyway, I hope all my Magic Mateys are doing well and I look forward to catching up with the thread later... :thumbsup2

oh i tried....here's their reply...

We can certainly understand your desire to receive the appropriate discount for your recent order. Regrettably, our systems require the promotion code be applied prior to submitting an order, and unfortunately, we cannot issue a partial refund. As indicated on our website and on the order confirmation, once an order has been submitted we cannot make any adjustments. We are sorry for any inconvenience this
may cause you.

oh well...now what is crazy...is that i can send the photos back for a full refund & reorder them using the discount...isn't that stupid??? not going to the trouble....but i do think that 12.95 per 5x7 is an outrageous amt of $$...even $10.36 (20%) is high....i get the same quality in the "MATTE" format which i use but Disney doesn't offer - for about $1...

Welcome home!!!! well i just didn't realize (more like didn't think about the fact) that you & DD were going to be there THE EXACT same week as Rus & Michelle....who you could have met up with...DUH!!! talk about being blonde!

sounds like a fabulous time & can't wait to hear more!!!!

Nan....if you're up to it & Mom is doing okay...we will be at Consuelo's Friday night at 7 for dinner & margaritas.....

Kaz, welcome back! What amazing luck you had being upgraded. I can't wait to read all about your trip!

Brenda, thanks for the photopass code!

btw, mom's post op surgery went good today. She has moved home from the skilled nursing care area back to her apartment. I made the appointments for next week too, another with her surgeon (the fluid is still there and will need to be drained) and also with the cardiologist. Her glacoma procedure is tenatively set for 10/29...
Hope your Mom continues to progress well, Nan. Is she still set for her glaucoma surgery?
It never ends with elder care.
You're so right about that! We're having some issues with DH's mother at the moment. She had heart by-pass surgery just over 2 years ago and really hasn't made a full recovery. Now it seems her old pre-op symptoms are back and all the specialists are at a complete loss as to what's going on. :sad2: DH is pushing for 2nd opinions but she lives over 100 miles from us and his DSis is worse than useless - it's not looking as if there's an easy solution...

...Molly had 6 teeth pulled. an extra baby tooth, as a freebie

Molly is bleeding alot she is packed with gauze and is leaking out her mouth so is using a kleenex to keep it from dripping on her clothes.

I hope it stops up soon. I can change out the guaze in a few minutes. Then every hour thereafter.

She was great during the the whole process. The doctor let me sit at the door to watch and keep her company. She didn't even flinch with the shots of novocaine.
Good girl! Hope she's fully recovered now...

I've been quiet the last two days becuase I got laid off from the office I worked for. My paycheck didn't come from the skatepark, it still came out of the office I worked for. My health benefits are going to continue thru the end of the year and I am getting a severence check, but that's it.

The owner of the skatepark has already told me he cannot afford my salary. I gave him a list of what I expect if I am to continue to work for him...

I started with, I want shorter hours. If I am to take a pay cut I expect my hours to be cut. I also told him I expect him to pick up my medical starting at the beginning of next year.

I have no idea if he even wants me back...I am more bothered by the fact that he hasn't given me a yes or no yet.

I already put in for unemployment and will be going back to school if I don't go back to the skatepark.

OMG Colleen! What a crappy situation! Hope it gets resolved soon and you can move on. I'm quite taken with the idea of CM myself. I can't find any mention of it here in the UK and scrapbooking is just getting bigger and bigger here! It's an exciting and interesting opportunity...

...My son had another car accident last night...this made me realize how unimportant a job is compared to my family. Dumdum tried to take my new geo out. It is a manual transmission car and was in gear when he started it. It drug him all the way up my driveway and had him pinned under it by the time I got outside. He has some really bad bruises and cuts, but luckily that is all. The stairs stopped the car, I got in it and took it out of gear while my FIL and neighbor moved the car off of him... I am fine. My son is fine. I wish you guys all hugs, prayers and pixie dust that you all are fine...

It don't rain but it pours!

...The issue is that Jesse's $5000 nose surgery is now $12,000, and my insurance won't cover it, as they say the doctor is "out of network". We're prepared to pay it, but I'm going to fight the insurance company in the meantime, as his nose problem is 90% functional and only 10% cosmetic. His surgery date is December 18th, so that he has Christmas break to recover...

:scared1: :scared1: :scared1: Hope this issue gets resolved asap, Aisling - that's serious money... :sad2:

On a lighter note, I saw quite a few gorgeous gold dresses in the US stores during my vacation - you've definitely won me over with that colour scheme... :goodvibes

Great news about baby Joshua! Whilst in WDW, I had the news that my best friend's DD gave birth to a baby girl, Evie! She sent me a photo via my cell phone - what a cutie! Made me feel so broody I had to spend $$$ on the cutest baby clothes... ;)

I've been lurking and I wanted to let you all know that you are awesome women! I love reading how you are all doing and what you are doing. I can't wait for Kaz to get back so that she can continue with her Trip Report. She is such a great writer and so funny...
Oh Debbie, that's so sweet and too kind. I'll get round to my trippies asap - first I gotta take on the useless piece of techno-junk that is my scanner so I can stun you all with my Vow Renewal pics... ;)

...I'm doing well, but I'm still in that space where I feel only negative comes out of what I'm thinking and feeling. I know that people don't always see or hear this but that's how I feel. This too will pass and I hope to be my old self soon...
Hugs and pixiedust: to you, sweetie! Please remember you can be yourself here - no need to worry about negativity, we all need to vent...
