New Year's Day

Does anyone know if Christmas decorations are still up at the parks and resorts after Jan. 1st? Also, do the theme parks or resorts have anything special going on on New Year's Day?

The decorations start to come down slowly (some are even down before NYE) but are still pretty impressive through roughly the first week of January. I believe they stop lighting the park Christmas trees (last lighting NYE) but the Osborne Lights are still up. The Candlelight Processional is over. I'm not sure when they go back to the regular parade at MK vs. the Christmas version. This may happen January 1 or it may run a few days longer.

There isn't really anything "special" at the parks New Year's Day except the huge sigh of relief from the CMs who know the worst of the crowds is over.
