New Year's at HHI ?'s

We are going to be spending new year's at HHI and was just wondering if any special things planned. Has anyone spent new years there? We have never been to HHi and we are so looking forward to it. Any suggestions welcomed.

Hi,

We were there 3 years ago for NYE in a GV which was great. The activities are pretty low key. There was a kids club that night that went past midnight in case you want to go out and the campfire that night was right around midnight, but other than that I can't think of any other activities. The weather is always pretty spotty around that time - could have an unseasonal bit of heat - but will most likely be in the 60's. Our kids swam one day I think. It's always beautiful the day we leave!

We've been there for NYE a few times, but when we were there, the only actual NYE activities were for kids and teens. (Three different age groups.)

There is now a new director of the recreational activities and I think that last year they did a family-type party at the beach house. Unfortunately, we weren't there for it.

You could probably call the resort to see what they may be offering, although the exact schedule probably wont be available till the week before.

Thanks for the replies. Regardless if they have alot of things going on or not-hey we'll be at a Disney resort.
