New Yavn Speaks in Newsletter halloween maze event announced more on Mules

Well, from what I heard, there were 3 different mazes (this year it sounds like there will only be one), one easy, one medium, and one difficult, each with different prizes, and the lines for each one were so long that people were waiting for hours to get into them and people were getting disconnected left and right (this was before the 50 person queue, I believe).

EDIT: Of course, now that I think about it, with DC gone, theoretically it could be run the same way and everything would work out okay. Guess we'll see how it goes. At least it's running for two straight days.

If they make it more like the "ride-a-thons" and use the river, track or slide pieces it will run a heck of a lot better and faster. Just the words "Halloween Maze Event" makes my eye start to twitch. God, it was so awful. It hard to get excited by this years event just remember the last one. I would have renamed that particular event for this year.

I have to admit that I have only gotten DC twice since the changes, but new problems have taken the DCs place: VMK Crashing like mad when it used to only rarely do it; time delay (where everything is in slow motion and takes 10-20 seconds for text you type to appear on the screen); and what would best be termed as constipation. The last refers to when nothing happens and your screen is frozen for some 30 seconds or more (sometimes as long as a few minutes) then everything starts moving again in FFWD to catch up to the current events or you just see a major change in the room and things are working again. Makes it kinda hard to hit a target in Pirates. (Actually my partner won the third round of pirates once and I never saw a thing... I just reappeared on the dock.) These problems make all of VMK a pain at times with possibly the exception of quests... as long as you get control of your character before the clock runs out.

I hope it's a Treat rather than a Trick.

No, not that old trick again! 650 people to pass.. down to #1 and dc. Tried the generator thing.. 450 people.. spin.. dc. Now that dc is gone this should work, but pull the queue out longer so more people can get in..

I still get DC (several times yesterday), so I don't know if I want to even try the maze after I've heard about this. plus I'm at work and in class those days

I honestly wouldn't care if my peacefuIly variations were banned as long as the titles couldn't be taken again, since I created them to prevent people from pretending to be me.

I just noticed that the calendar says the maze even starts at 11:30 each day, but in Yavn Speaks he says it starts at game open on Monday and ends at game close on Tuesday. Wonder which it will be?

Oh! I hope it starts at open! I'm going out of town on Monday and won't return until Wednesday. I will have Monday morning to VMK, but don't know if I start at 11:30a if I'll have time to complete a maze...
