Silas and Dad enjoying the show!

After Playhouse Disney we were hoping to get on RnR...we checked our Verizon App and it still said it was closed :headache: We were thinking maybe a little Muppet :3dglasses so we headed back down Pixar Place and wondered up to Walt Disney:One Man's Dream. We had never done this so we decided to keep warm and wonder through it. Boy am I glad I did! I am of course a huge Walt fan and consider myself quite knowledgeable about most things Disney...but this tour was so interesting! It was really a nice tribute to Walt and all he contributed to the world :thumbsup2 There were so many interesting facts and displays....here's just a few...

And finally a few of my favs from my childhood visit's to Epcot...

Bring back Kitchen Kabaret....I'm thinking the founders of Veggie Tales maybe got a few ideas from Epcot????

After One Man's Dream we decided we were hungry and headed on into Toy Story Pizza Planet where we shared a Pizza and Salad. After lunch it was time for our TSM FPs so we got in line and got some :3dglasses for Dh, myself and even Silas!

Derek ended up winning (he always does!) but I think Silas helped him this time....

After TSM we were pretty tired and were planning on going back to the hotel but as we were leaving DHS I was asked to do a survey about dining in the park! I agreed and got to sit at a little table and answer a few questions on the computer they had setup. After I was done I actually felt rested and so we decided to tough it out and head over to Epcot via the Friendship Boats....

Coming up Next....a Magical Evening at Epcot :cloud9:

I love One Man's Dream too. I go through it every time I'm there.

I want Kitchen Kabaret back too. My mom videotaped it during our second visit in '86, so I grew up watching it over and over again.

Veggie fruit fruit, veggie, veggie fruit fruit! :lmao:

What a morning!

I love One Man's Dream! I feel like i could spend a whole day in there!

So did Silas just fall asleep on his own in the stroller? I don't know if my DD would do that!

Yes I think One Man's Dream will become a family tradition now! hehehe I totally remember that song :)

Silas did fall asleep in the stroller a few times....as long as he's snuggled and has a nuk, than he's pretty much out!

After a great afternoon at DHS, we were ready to head over to Epcot. We had gotten a little lunch at Pizza Planet (split a pizza and salad) but we were getting hungry again. We had reservations in Mexico at 7:35pm so we knew we would want another little snack. I really wanted to try Tangierine Cafe so we decided to take the boat to Epcot and head over there.

We had planned on taking a break that day, but that didn't end up happening so we needed some formula for Silas. After my survey about dining I had mentioned, we found the Baby Care Center. It is very nice there, clean and has lots of room for changing the baby and such. The only thing is they don't have a place to buy supplies! I asked the one other family there and they said that the shop right outside sells formula/diapers/etc. I headed over there and was able to buy a can of formula....I think it was like $5.....that was one 8oz bottle!!!

After the baby care center we went and waited for the boat. The boat ride is always one of my favorite things at the parks....it's so relaxing and I love seeing all the resorts. We unloaded at the International Gateway and headed right over to Morocco. We decided to split a lamb pita and YUM YUM YUM it was sooooooooo good! I know this isn't my dining review, but we just wanted to say how wonderful the staff and food was here. Here's a few pics..

And Silas had a snack here too...

We left around 5pm, and knew we had our reservations in Mexico at 7:35pm so we decided to walk around towards Canada and make our way around that way. We stopped in England in a few shops to keep warm, and then we found the Rose Garden. It was so cute and we were just enjoying the atmosphere....when The Beatles tribute band came out into the gazebo! I was so excited! I had always wanted to see them since I am a BIG beatles fan. We were right up front since we were out there before they started playing. Pretty soon tons of people came out of the woodwork to here them play.

mms_picture1-1.jpg

Silas LOVED them and was bopping around on his daddy's shoulders :)
We stayed for about 4 songs, and then were freezing again so we ducked in another shop. In the shop we went into they had a cute little Beatles section so I got my mom a Yellow Submarine ornament (my whole family are Beatles fans)

After England we walked over towards Mexico because we wanted to do the boat ride and walk around the Mexico pavillion before dinner. We actually had 2 ADRs, one for San Angel at 6:30pm and one for La Hacienda at 7:30pm ( I know someone will lecture me on this! hehe) I have never done this before but we just weren't sure which one we wanted to go with. So we went over to look at the menus again. First we looked at La Hacienda, then we went inside to San Angel Inn. We decided to go for La Hacienda and try something knew. We actually heard them telling people in front of San Angel Inn that they weren't taking walk ups, so we ended up giving our ADR to a family of 3 and spreading a little :wizard:. We then went on the boat ride and we were relaxing...when the boat ride stopped! We were stuck for probably about 10 minutes, and we kept playing bumper boats until we were finally able to get off the ride!

After that we headed over to Norway and just walked ride on Malestrom....literally, there was no one in line at all! I have never had that happen :woohoo: We got off the ride and the end of the movie was playing. We watched it and WOW does that need an update :lmao: There were so many scrunchies, neon colors, and acid wash jeans I felt like I Was back in Junior High. After the movie we walked around the Norway shops a bit to buy some time before our ADR. We looked at some of the sweaters, they were all around $300! I can't imagine anyone buying one of those????
I always like taking pictures with the big troll and trying on the viking hats :thumbsup2

cont....

Here's my favorite men in the viking hats!!!

mms_picture-7.jpg

Aren't they the toughest vikings you've ever seen???:lmao:

We were taking off the hats and I looked on the back....guess what???? MADE IN CHINA!!! I was like ummmmmmm hello we're in Norway people, China's a few steps away :rotfl: Oh well, after out Norway fun we went over to La Hacienda around 7:15pm to see if we could check in a little early. They said no problem! I thought there was no chance because it was SO packed...but we got our pager and we got sat right away :woohoo: The restaurant inside was BEAUTIFUL and this meal was our favorite of the whole trip. If you want to read more about it, I go into more detail in my dining report. Here's a few highlights though :thumbsup2

yummmmmmmmmmmmmmm

The windows are huge and give such a wonderful view of WS...We would highly recommend this restaurant, and ask for Juan Carlos, he was great :thumbsup2

After dinner we were debating if we wanted to wait around for Illuminations. We were both super tired from not taking a break that day so we decided to call it a night and avoid the crowds exiting Epcot. We slept great that night :thumbsup2

Up next....Will we finally make MK opening????
