New WDW Today Resort TV Channel (Great Graphics and Music)

Hello everyone!
I just got back from a short stay at Port Orleans - Riverside, and I noticed that they recently changed the WDW Today Channel (the channel that displays park hours and plays great background music). This channel is currently channel 2 on the Resort TV's. Luckily, I had my capture device with me, so I captured the channel with the complete 60 minute music loop and uploaded it to YouTube. The music is very orchestral and much nicer than the previous version in my opinion. Also, the graphics are very cool and have some nice little touches. What do you think?

Also, I captured the 2015 version of Must Do Disney with Stacey! There are a couple of other versions of this on YouTube, but they are camera recordings and not direct captures like this one. These captures are in 720p HD at 60fps (just like they are broadcast in the resorts). Enjoy!!

yes, i had it on today, my kids were so amazed that we had those channels and they never knew it! lol!!! i did spill the "secret" to my youngest but the oldest and more gullible still thinks it's a real channel lol! thanks again for sharing!

I used a Hauppauge HVR 1955. It has a built in Digital QAM tuner, so I was able to just hook the coax cable into the Hauppauge from the back of the room's TV. I've only had this device for a few weeks, but I'm really impressed with it so far! It even has composite and S-Video inputs on the front (with coax on the back), so I have been able to transfer some of my old VHS tapes over to my computer as well. The only downside is that even though it hooks up to USB on my laptop, you still have to plug it into the wall. Otherwise, it's a great device!

It's a pleasure to watch and gets you in the Disney mood. Even though I've grown very attached to the "old music" that I always turn on (LOUDLY) when I unpack, now I can ease myself into the new music before we arrive in less than a month. Hey everyone! Just uploaded a couple more Resort TV Channels from my most recent trip. The first one is the "Disney Outside the Parks" Channel that shows Disney Cruise Line and Adventures by Disney.

The second one is the Your Disney Resort Channel. I stayed at Port Orleans Riverside. (Hadn't stayed there since College!) I love the "Weather Channel-Like" Music on this one.

You're very welcome. I love to watch them on my Apple TV as well. I have a few recordings from other resorts on my channel. I have Animal Kingdom Lodge and Old Key West (in addition to the Port Orleans Riverside recording above).

This is IT! This is the "old" music I thought had been replaced when I watched your new Resort video capture. So happy that I'll have my "unpacking" music when we arrive next month. Thanks, @nelsonj3 for posting this! BTW and OT, I loved The Weather Channel music - very claming, until Verizon removed it from their channel lineup. I've watched since I was a teen in the 80's and I really miss it...
