new walmart supercenter near 192 and 27 intersection

Does anyone know when the new Walmart at the intersection of 192 and 27 will be open? We are staying at Windsor Palms in mid October and this store (if open) will be very convenient. Thanks for any info. :thewave:

It is due to open in september sometime .I am going over to have a holiday (i hope) then -so will report back unless someone already beats me to it

I sure do hope it's open by October because we have to travel to the other way to get to the other one (our resort is very clost to Rt. 27). Not a big problem but the closer, the better.

JANNYANS--- this new walmart is it going to be closer to your house than the one by medievial times?? how close??

my sense of direction is horrible

lucky for me DH does ALL the driving on vacation

Hi Kayla- it will be much closer than the 192 Wal -mart and the one at Haines City.It will be about 5 miles north on the 27 from where we are .Can't wait until sept to go there -less driving time -more shopping time !! can't be bad -if its open on time

I live 1 mile north of the new Wal Mart. We were told it would open in the fall, just intime for holiday shopping! Drove by there yesterday, looks like 4 walls and a cieling and not much else.

If you take 192 west, it deadends at 27. Take 27 north, it's less than a mile on the right, directly behind the BP gas station. We are also hoping there will be an entrance/exit on 192 at the light where the Summer Bay Publix is located.
