Hi I"m Sandi. I don't know if this is the right place to post this or not, but I have several questions about planning a trip. I went to DisneyWorld several times when I was a kid, but the last time we went I was 16 (I'm now 25) and this will be the first time that I'm the planner. There's so much information and some many options that I'm getting overwhelmed!

1. We (dh, 4 y/o dd and myself) would like to go feb 5-9, 2007. I see people on here planning trips a year and more in advance. Is it even possible to plan a trip and get all the reservations in less than 4 months?

2. I would like to make the reservations for the Pop Century sometime this week. Do I have to order the tickets at the same time or can I order them later. The reason I ask is because we are planning to use some of our income tax return to pay for the trip and we usually get it Feb 1st or 2nd. Can we buy the tickets when we get there or do I need to buy them before then?

3. I've read that adr for Breakfast at Cinderella's Castle must be made 180 days in advance. We obviously missed the date, but is there any itsy bitsy chance we might still be able to get a reservation? We don't have to have priority seating (I'm not really sure I know what that is), but dd really wants to have breakfast there one morning.

4. We will be using my mom's credit card to reserve the room. DH and I just finished paying off some debts last year and did away with all our credit cards and I really don't want to get one again, even if it is just for this trip. With the reservation being made with her credit card and then us checking in with our names, will that be a problem? I didn't really word that right, but maybe someone knows what I'm trying to say.

Thats all I can think of right now. I know I'm probably going to have more questions in the next few days and weeks. If anybody can help me I would really appreciate it! Thanks.

:welcome: Hi Sandi! Welcome to the DIS! I'm not a pro but have some thoughts for you...
1. It is not too late to get a room! :woohoo: Pick up the phone or book online. You can get trips & discounts through many outlets (AAA, etc.).
2. Everything can be purchased separately but Disney Visa offers 6 months no interest on Disney trips.
3. Pick up the phone - 407-939-3463, they may have a spot for you.
4. Sorry - I don't have an answer for this one. But you came to the right spot! There are many experienced folks here!

I hope you have a wonderful trip and enjoy the planning! :wizard:

It's Disney, so anything is possible. :tinker:

Give them a call, and I bet you will get your reservations when you want.

Yes - there is probably still rooms available...I would certainly call as soon as possible. CRT breakfast is great...I bet there may still be some reservations available...I would call asap though, you don't need your hotel reservations yet to call (I do think you need a credit card to book the meal though) I am pretty sure you can use your mom's credit card...I just made a reservation for my DGM with my credit card and it wasn't a problem. I told them who would be staying in the room when I spoke with the CM. HAVE A GREAT TRIP!!

Thanks you guys for such quick replies. I've been looking on this site all day and I've found a ton of information. This is much more user-friendly than some of the other sites I checked out.
