The update to Ver. 1.2 of the Disneyland App ,besides adding PhotoPass , also adds restaurant menus with the prices. A great addition , IMHO.

I thought the Rancho del Zocalo was serving breakfast , the app shows only the beverages under Breakfast.

Yay! I find myself using the app more often and that would definitely be an improvement!

I just updated it, and then went in... but neither of the menus I tried to look at actually loaded. Hmmmmm.....

They'll start breakfast on Feb. 2nd, so I suspect maybe they're waiting til then to announce the new menu. I can't wait to see it, what they incorporate from River Belle Terrace and what new things with a Rancho Del Zocalo flavor they introduce.

I swear I was looking YESTERDAY for this feature on the app! Yay!

I heard there is wifi now at the parks. Is this true? Does it work OK?

We'll be travelling from Canada and I don't want to use too much data

Currently, there is no wifi in the parks, nor have they announced it will take place in the future. The hotels have wifi.

One of the other new features on the app is the ability to look at or purchase Photopass photos. I wish that feature had been available for my trip in November!

Just update on my Iphone, we used the app many times when we were in DL. Love it!

The Disneyland app is slowly adding features, but is far behind the WDW version. There seems to be wasteful redundant efforts.

The Disney World (My Disney Experience) app could easy support Disneyland.

Does seem like a waste not to just roll over the MDE app from Disney World. It would be great to have at DLR. It would be nice to manage dining reservation through the app like at WDW. I am sure that is coming, but seems like they should have just been able to roll the MDE app right over. Must be operating the parks on two different types of systems, so the app won't work with what DLR has.....at least that is my guess.

I'm a canadian and I here ya. I'll be paying to extend my own data plan to the US. It's about 7$ a day.

I am in canada too and in have a US SIM card with a US phone number that I use when I travel to and from the states - talk/text/data cost about $3 a day
It's way cheaper than adding a US plan thru my cell provider

Would be nice if they could make the digital bar code for premier pass users. I mean come on!!!

I am so surprised DL doesn't have wifi. I was just reading through this thread and it never occurred to me they wouldn't have it! Wow.

I was originally surprised as well since WDW has it, but then realized that the it was only made available at WDW when the MDE app was ready to roll out. Prior to that there was no wifi at WDW either. I think it is more essential there since everything can be managed through the app (FP+ reservations/cancelations; dining reservations/cancelations, etc.). As the app functionality expands at DLR, I expect that you will see wifi come into the park.
