Ultimate WDW Fan--Travel Channel

LOOKING FOR THE ULTIMATE WALT DISNEY WORLD FAN FOR A NEW TRAVEL CHANNEL SHOW

The Travel Channel is producing a new show in Orlando, Florida tentatively entitled, “Ultimate Fan’s Guide to Walt Disney World” which will feature the definitive insider’s look at the world’s most loved theme park from a fan’s point of view.

At this time we are casting for Ultimate Fans who, not only have made Disney a large part of their everyday lives, but can also share information on getting the most out of every Disney vacation; from maximizing your trip on a budget to minimizing wait time in lines.

If you think you’re the Ultimate Disney Fan, here’s what you need to do. First, complete the online submission form below and attach a photograph of yourself and your family and/or friends. Then send us a 5 minute video “resume” telling us why you are the Ultimate Walt Disney World Fan. Don’t forget to share your insightful tips about each theme park along with footage of how you have incorporated the “magic” into your everyday life. The deadline for all video submissions is March 10, 2004. All video submissions must be 5 minutes or less.

The show is looking to cast the following groups of Ultimate Fans:
• Parents and two teenage kids
• A multigenerational family which includes a Mom & Dad with children between the ages of 3-5 years old and either Grandpa/Grandma or Aunts & Uncles
• Young married couple (preferably, but not limited to, married at Walt Disney World)
• Three thirty-something year old friends

Each group will have to know the ins and outs of the Walt Disney World Theme Parks to save vacationers time, money and enhance their overall experience.

Boo Hoo - I don't seem to fit into any of the categories! None of my friends areas Disney crazed as me, so I don't fit into the "three thirty-something year old friends," and DD is only 18 months, otherwise I'd go for the multi-generational (my Mom & I are the Disney fanatics, and I plan to train my DD well!)

We fit the category of family with two teenaged children, but unfortunately we are absolutely not available week of March 29 or April 5th. Kiddos can't miss school or important high school baseball games. We just don't even have two days straight those two weeks we could get away. Why oh why couldn't this be done in the fall?????!!!!! We are going May 21st - 25th though!!!!!

Darn! No category for 50ish single woman with one child. I would be perfect. I'll live 10 minutes away! DD wants to be an actor. She'd be perfect! URGH!!!!

Hmph. I don't see why they have to be so picky about it. I've grown up at WDW. My family has vacationed there once (sometimes twice) a year since I was 9 months old. I'm almost 30 now, and my mom and brother (21) and I STILL go there together every year.
