(NEW TR LINK) Mickey MMMouse,McDonald Duck& Memo: 12 Days & 13.1 Miles. Nov 2013 TR

I love that you captured DH having some fun at Disney. Why won't the men in our lives admit that they get caught up in the magic too! :lmao:

I  the family picture with the frame at AK. Very nice and it did make a great Christmas card!

BOO rain...I guess I have been so lucky with rain and Disney...athough we did have to deal with freezing temperatures at Christmas.

Y'know, I was totally prepared to feel sorry for you and your weather. I wasn't even going to tell you how I laid in the sun today, I wasn't...but then you mentioned going to Arizona in a mere two days and I stopped feeling so sorry for you!

I was about to feel sorry for you too Nicole...you should have waited to post about AZ until we gave you our :worried: faces

That is the BEST picture ever! Ahhhh, don't you love that? When you get the perfect shot and you weren't even trying? That's why I just shoot ALL.THE.TIME. in hopes that the perfect shot will come upon me. Yup. It's also why my family runs when the camera comes out b/c I am relentlessly trying to get said shot. :sad2:

Your family runs too...I thought it was just mine...

Ah rain. We had our fair share this last trip and it helped with lines, but man it was wet...and cold! I vote we stay on the balcony if it rains next February...with drinks...and cupcakes! :rolleyes1

What no singing in the rain for us...hmm balcony, drinks, cupcakes...that about does my need to be Fred Astire...Ginger Rogers is way too glam for me!

Oh wait, look, again I couldn't stay on topic and ended up talking about next February. Surprised???

Guess what 11 months!

Yhea, I guess you can't feel TOO sorry for me since in about 36 hours I'll be in 85 degree weather. I earned this Spring Break dammit- with this winter!!!! I am ever so grateful to my mother for retiring in warmth.....

We won't know what to do with ourselves without family to chase after with our big cameras in February. We'll have like Flat Savannah & Flat Rebecca dolls to pose...... :)

Yhea, I'm good with hanging on the balcony with drinks and cupcakes next year if it rains.

Well now I lead two Girl Scout Troops and many of their mothers follow me on Pinterest and they have yet to pull their children from my troops... so... it might be ok?!?

I am pretty upfront.. I tell people "I'm probably going to offend you at some time with some sarcastic comment... love me anyways" :rotfl:

More importantly, what did you think of my costume choices I posted on there? :)

I didn't see the Olaf you mentioned? Lilo & Stitch?? Mary Poppins? Where's the Olaf?!?! That's the one I want to see!

Speaking on Pinterest...I got a comment today "ARE YOU RUNNING AT DISNEY, AGAIN...(notice the snarky voice)?" Now mind you I did not tell a lot of people about my first running event...I did not want people to fall over and die laughing at me for even thinking I could run something like 10 miles. I looked at her strangely..."Yes, why?" "Well you blew up my pinterest feed with costumes and running blogs. " Maybe I should start having secret boards...

:thumbsup2

Yep. Olaf! I like it, I think you should do it! Or Elsa...or the Queen of hearts...or...or...

Whatever... Alice needs a friend, just choose one so I can help you obsess! :lmao:

My husband said the same thing to me when he found out. I tried really hard to have a secret running girls only vacation..but damn if I didn't mess up right off the bat by first ordering a $75 sparkle skirt that hit our checkbook and then having it delivered when I wasn't home to get it first!!! :rotfl2:

Good thing he loves me and got over it fast- by ordering another fishing lure for Canada!

The Drunk Doormouse.

I'd have to stay TOTALLY in character though for the entire race. :)

I am feeling the heavy weight of pressure because I can not make up my mind!!!!

March Hare!
Dodo!

Choose! Choose!

No pressure.

Choose!

no, really, take your time.

Choose!

:rotfl2:

Let me be like my husband. Ok.
So it's a Disney race...
So. Batman.
Because I want to wear a cape.

How's that!

Here are my top contenders:
Elsa
Olaf
Mary Poppins
Cindy in rags
Belle in blue

That doesn't at all narrow it down. I suck.

Well, you mention Elsa and Olaf the most, maybe that's your subconscious trying to tell you something. Because...ya know...theses are big life decisions! ;)

Have you looked around at costume options for each of the ones you want? Maybe that will help, ya know, finding a Sparkleskirt for one or another might help you made your decision. :rolleyes1

oh, I about fell out of my chair laughing at that! :rotfl2: (plus, I use that line every time my kids say they're hungry for breakfast 10 minutes after we just ate breakfast.....)

LOVE LOVE LOVE the picture! it's your perfect Disney picture!

yay for $7 ponchos! we're not the only suckers that had to buy them at the park because someone didn't pack them (i'm just going to say "someone"--you'll know it was me, i'm sure!)

becca is totally ready to be a Disney princess! cutie!

This will be my project for tomorrow at work. Instead of work.

As much as I want to do Olaf (he's my front runner) I just think the white could be disastrous on many levels. Fat rolls showing & holy cow if it rains.. watch thousands of PHM runners on that show!!!! I think for all of humanity's sake- I should stay away from white.

So that leaves Elsa. Perhaps I'll put a little OLAF iron on her skirt! In honor.

So glad to know it's not just me who 'ahem' forgets to pack the ponchos.

Becca is ready to be a princess- fo' sho!

I can still remember playing the washboard at Hoop-dee-do as a kid! So fun! :yay:

GREAT family photos at AK! Sorry to see all that rain, but it looks like there were a lot of animal out and about on the safari! :)

Hoop Dee Doo is definitely a lot of fun. We've only been once, and we actually considered going on this last trip, but DW vetoed it in favor of - I forget what. I am not sure I am willing to pay the $$$ to see it again though.
I feel like its fun, but not worth $60+ per person.

Sounds like you made the most out of AK day. At least we had our own ponchos with us. They were dollar store ponchos too! We were really bummed not to get together. We gotta get another skype session going. I have to set up my computer/camera first, though.

Yhea, we had so much fun at that dinner!! My kids & the hubby can't wait to go back. Even at the hefty price!

There were a lot of animals out enjoying the rain. And charging our car. :)

I think we will probably pay and go see it again at some point in the future . We are doing one day at MK in June after our cruise & Kurt said.. ."did you get reservations at HHD?". I'm like- I'm not wasting our park time to go to that dinner when we are there for one day!! So I know we'll be back! :)

Our AK was so short- we missed most of the park. It was kinda a huge bummer...all around.. but oh well..........

Yes, we are heading back to AZ for spring Break tomorrow.. so maybe when we get back we can get the girls on Skype again!

Enjoy your time in Mesa. DD is heading out there with grandma #1 to visit Grandma #2 for Easter break.

Get some Filly's Roadhouse BBQ ribs for me if you go out to Goldfield again.

Also, have you ever taken the kids to Organ Stop Pizza? If not you should definitely not miss it.

Just found your TR and I am loving it so far! Your writing style is very entertaining! I can't wait to read more!

Can I just say this is the longest week ever? I'm not sure I like this you-on-vacation thing. ;)

I'm sure keeping me entertained is high on your life priority list.
