New Toy Story Disney Visa Card Design

My husband upgraded his design....I still have the old yellow and blue castle that says 50 years on it....I don't see any that I want to change to though Wish they'd do one with resorts....then I could carry my POP card LOL

Wait! Is this true? When we ordered our cards, DH was going to get the Mickey one and I was going to get the Tink one. The lady on the phone said we had to have the same design since it was the same account. So DH went with the Tink design since he knew that is what I wanted. I think he might have regretted it ever since, but he made the sacrifice for me!!

I might call up and ask about this.

On the site if you sign in and ask to change the card design it lets you choose whose you want to change....so you do not have to have the same design

We've been told the same thing....A couple years ago, we had the red card, but I wanted Tink. So I had the customer service rep send us Tink, she said she had to send both of us new cards. When the cards arrived, I activated mine, but Dh never activated his--he just continued using his red card. He never had any problems using it or anything.

You can have 2 different designs. After getting the email, DH just decided we should change ours both to toy story (we've had vintage mickey forever), but I asked if I could get Tink. He changed and ordered the new cards with no problems. How funny though if we both got tink. He would flip!

Disney should get on the ball here and offer more designs. I would change all the time! Seems like a fun way to get people to use the cards, and thats what they want, right?

My wife and I discuss the same thing. I cannot begin to count the number of women who have commented on the card and then start a conversation with me. When I go out with a few of my single friends they always ask me to use that card to pay to get the conversations started

I guess its just the magic of Disney that does it

Maybe I should use that tactic with DH to get him to use the card. He will only use the Tinkerbell card if he has to (like my DD18 has his debit card)! I should tell him if he uses it more, he might get some girls to flirt with him. (PS we pay off Disney card balance each month, so I use it like a debit card .)

Just switched from Nemo to Woody and Buzz. For those of you who switched, how long did it take to receive the new card? They say 2 -3 weeks, and I'm leaving for WDW in 2 weeks. I hope it comes before the trip!

If you call Chase, you can actually request for them to send the card overnight to you for free. I did this with my Tinkerbell card and DBF's Toy Story card. Each card came the very next day through UPS!

does it have sparkles? i know its lame but i was pleasantly surprised when i got my tink card and it had those sparkles in it. i joke i get a lot of miles with her wings, boy tink is tired from all the flying she has been doing in the mall etc so i dont know if im ready to trade it in if i have to give up the sparkles.
