After many years being an active member on the Dis, I never knew this board was here until now. I just joined the BL Fall Challenge and I'm very excited about meeting new people that have the same struggles as I do.
So here's my question, and I'm sure it's been asked alot but I can't find a thread about it.
I live 20min. from WDW, I go almost every weekend for about 8 to 9 hours.
Has anyone calculated how many steps you walk around the park, in average. I'm just trying to figure out how many calories I'm burning while I'm at the park. I like to tour the entire park when I'm there, I don't just sit around and people watch. The parks that we tend to visit more often are DHS, Epcot and AK.
Thanks in Advance.

It's hard to say...some people only walk a little bit, some people double back in the parks, etc. You might want to look for a good pedometer and wear it next time you go. HTH!

I have an iPhone app that uses GPS to track how far you walk. When we were down in May, I walked between 5 miles and 11 miles per day. We walked the most on our first days at MK and Epcot.

Pjlla wears her pedometer at WDW. When we were there together in May I know one day her and her DD did 17 miles.

I typically average 7-12, depending on how many times we zigzag across the parks.

I'd get a good pedometer or an app with GPS if you have a smart phone.

Can anyone recommend a good walking app for droid??

I use Runkeper ap on my Droid. It seems to work great. You can pick what you are doing run, bike, hike...it uses GPS
