We will be coming from Disney to Universal for 2 days the first week of June - the 5th and 6th. DS is 7 and DD is 9. I measured them last night and they are both around 50 inches, so probably can't do the Hulk, Dragon Challenge and Dr. Doom, maybe HRRR. I was planning on getting Express passes but do I really need them as we won't be going on those 3 rides - and I assume there is still enough there for DS and DD to do for 1 or 2 days. We have been to Disney for a total of about 25 days in the last few year, so they have had enough of the Disney Parks, although we still like to stay there. Thanks.

I would never purchase the express pass in advance. Go into the parks and see how the lines are before considering it. Passes can be purchased in many locations WITHIN the parks.

I agree with damo , wait to get to the parks to see if you need it.Whether or not you need it will depend on your tolerance for waiting in lines.Crowds at that point won't be at their summer peak yet but I know for us, waiting anything over 15 mins is too long..LOL

same thoughts.........

the ep's are non refundable and date/park related.
you will not know if they are needed until once you are in the parks.

Not sure if there are 3 or 4 in your party, but if you look up the price for the ep's on both days and add them up for your party, it might be worth it for you to look into one night onsite, whether you really stay there or not. With one night at an onsite resort, you get two days of unlimited express passes (both check in day and check out day) as well as two days of early entry. Just something to consider.
