So i need help on how much time to give to Universal. We have 2 families going down and it will be 5 days where we hoped would spend 4 days in disney and 1 in Universal.

Now my family has done all in Disney in previous trips but our first time in Universal.. I would like to do Universal for my youngest, but my older DD wants to do the rides in IOA? We are not big HP fans but the other family i am with are huge HP fans.. It will also be there first and last time to Disney, so that is why we wanted to devote 4 days there.

So here is question 1, can we do both parks in 1 day? I know we won't see everything, but at least to get some of the key things in each park. or should we just do IOA & HP??? Would there be rides for younger kids ie 7yrs old that don't like the scary rides.

OR should we cut Dsieny to 3 days and and do 2 days in Disney, would we be best to then spend one night at Universal to stay on site?

Any suggestions is appreciated.

When are you going? In low season you will be able to get more done and it won't matter if you stay onsite or not. I would do three days Disney and 2 days Universal.
