Hi...I want to join in the fun. I joined WW last week and had my first weigh in today. I lost a whole 5 pounds!! I am so excited about it..even though I know it's just a lot of water. 5 lbs is 5 lbs.

I'll take the weight loss anyway I can!

Sounds like you're off to a good start! I'm sure you'll find a lot of familiar "faces" here, so you should feel right at home.
 
Yep i do see some familiar faces here. How is everyone doing? (Other than getting nice and fit)

Hi Nancy! Welcome, welcome! I am new to WISH too (I keep saying "new", but pretty soon I'll have a few weeks under my belt and will stop saying I am "new"). A 5 lb weight loss your first week is terrific! There are many others here that are doing WW too, so I am sure you will get all sorts of help from them, and from everyone else too. Yes, grab your little clippie art thingy. As you will note I am probably one of the only WISHer's without the little clippiee art thingy. The clippie art thingy is too much pressure for me, but I am promoting it and suggesting you get one anyway, otherwise nativetxn (Katholyn) will give you grief...I speak from experience...trust me:). (Couldn't resist, Katholyn!). I am so glad you are here with us, Nancy!

We started WW at the same time. Man 5lbs. that is amazing, I only lost .8 but I'm hoping for better results week. I got you know what the day after the weigh in so I'm thinking that would account for 1 or 2 pounds (bad timing) Well I'm glad you are here and I'm glad I'm here :D

Thanks for the warm welcoms. So far i love WW. I have been able to eat almost everything I normally would with just a little modification. I did have to give up my MAJOR Pepsi habit though...I haven't had 1 Pepsi in 1 full week now.

When I get a few extra minutes I will add the clippie to my sig.

I am glad that you are enjoying WW. I really love the WW program and for me it is easy to live with since I don't have to really give anything up.

I know how hard the soda habit can be to give up. I myself was a pretty major Coke addict but I have had only 1 since starting WW. When I need a soda I have switched over to Diet Sprite or Diet Pepsi. Both are 0 points and so I can have them guilt-free and don't have to worry about using 3 pts. for a regular soda. I learned that I really need a "fizzy" drink every now and then. :)

WOW A clippie your very first week- weigh to go! Please share any tips or challenges- we all like to read what's working- keep up the Pepsi deprivation- you'll feel alot better about it and eventually it'll taste way too sweet!

I just really stopped the Pepsi and no more take out lunches! I work in a grocery store so I'm buying my WW dinners or Lean Cuisine, adding a salad and FF dressing (that I bring from home) and I'm all set! Plus drinking HUGE amounts of water...I hardly ever drank water before!) My bad time is around 9-10 in the evening. I want to munch on chips and dip so bad...so I get my popcorn, measure out 3 cups and eat it very slowly!
