New to the forum

Hi, I just wanted to introduce myself. My name is Gina, and my fiance John and I are planning a Disney World wedding for next November 5, 2004 (hopefully!). As you all probably know, Disney won't confirm it until a year out and we are told that is a popular time of the year so it may go to a lottery. We want an evening wedding at the Wedding Pavillon, the cocktail hour on the Whitehall patio, and the reception at the Grand Floridian.

We are really excited, and reading through all the messages on this forum have given us lots of good ideas. Thanks for all the help. As we get more into our planning I am sure I will have a ton of questions.

Gina, welcome to the boards and congrats on your upcoming wedding. Did you mean the wedding is to be 2005 rather than 2004?
Planning a FTW is so much fun and having one is even better.

My husband and I were married on May 2nd, 2004 at the Wedding Pavilion, Whitehall room pre-reception and St. Augustine Ballroom at the GF for the reception.
