New to the DIS

Hello everyone,
I'm new to the board, my sister is a member and she's been telling me how great it is and so as a fellow Disney lover, I had to join. I'm actually going to the Magic Kingdom for one day next week with the Sunshine Foundation, and I was wondering if anyone has any tips on making the most of a one day trip chaperoning special needs children?
