New to the boards and have a question about offsite hotels...

I have been lurking for a while and have finally decided to post messages because I have so many questions and you all know so much about WDW.

I have never been to WDW before, but my DH has years ago. We are planning on going in January 2005 for our anniversary and want to stay somewhere offsite. From what I have read, Janaury is suppose to be the value season. I check mousesavers.com and this website for discount codes, etc. frequently...I love a good deal.

Can anyone here recommend a nice hotel for less than $100? If possible one of the DTD hotels?

on property - All Stars and Pop Century would be less than that - probably the moderates too - it is off season.

if you want a microwave and under-the-counter refrigerator then rent points from a DVC member and stay at OKW for around $80 in January in a studio.

the only hotel you probably can't get for your price is the Hilton - all the others you should be able to get a pretty good deal on them at that time.
