New to me Restaurants - what do you love there?

For my upcoming May/June trip, I'm going to be trying Olivia's Cafe for Brunch and Flying Fish for dinner. Would love to know what you have enjoyed there!

We've only eaten at Olivia's for dinner but their fried chicken is delicious - probably some of the best I've had. I believe you can get it at brunch as well.

As for Flying Fish we loved the lobster bisque and the potato wrapped red snapper was amazing. I was a bit disappointed in the scallop dish and I've rarely met a scallop I didn't like. They were cooked well, but I was not a fan of the sauce. Service was fantastic though.

Olivia's ~ have not been in awhile but hopefully still there ~ REAL delicious SWEET Iced Tea. Hard to find at Disney.

Flying Fish - Honestly, I have never had a bad meal there. It just depends on your own preferences...I'm a seafood lover, myself, but ..... I don't believe you'll be disappointed no matter your choice.

Never eaten at Olivia’s but have at FF many times.

The scallops are always tender and sweet no matter how the seasonal menu changes; salmon is well prepared and never overcooked.
Sea bass is good when it’s on the menu.
We come here for the fish so can’t say anything about the filet mignon or steak.
The desserts are worth ordering even though I suspect the original pastry chef left during the pandemic. The replacement still follows through with a delicate hand and proper brakes on the sugar; just ethereal.
Yeah, I’ll be back

We’ve been few times. I love the sea bass and she loves the snapper. Very tasty and service is fantastic. We love charcuteries but the artisan of cheeses there is absolutely terrible.

Flying Fish is amazing. I've enjoyed the potato-wrapped snapper (their signature dish), the steak, and also the sea bass and truly loved each one. They have some pretty unique desserts as well so try to leave some room! Hope you enjoy!!
