Hey all,

I am a huge Disney fanatic and my goal is to visit every Disney theme park before I die. Good thing I'm only 38! So, DLP is on my list for June 2009 and I have lots of questions. The trip woulld be me and my friend (same age). Girls only week.

First, how is the end of June as far as weather and crowds go?
Next, is three full days enough to see most of the parks?
I would LOVE to stay at the Disneyland Hotel, but it is just way to out of my budget and the two value resorts don't have air conditioning so those are out. Please tell me more about Sequioa and Newport. I've read the FAQ thread, but I'd like a more personal opinion. Also, how far is it to walk to the parks and how long is the shuttle ride from each hotel?

Plan would be: arrive on Sunday and spend time at Disney Village. Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday would be reserved for the parks and we would leave some time on Thursday to spend a few days in Paris before heading home.

THANKS!:rotfl:

I would choose the Newport Bay Club. It is almost like the Disneyland Hotel! ;) And if you pay the extra for a Lakeview room, you will have a great time!

But you should keep in mind that DLRP is much much much smaler then WDW! The hotels are no "resorts"! They are simply hotels. (Although the NPBC is the biggest hotel in West Europe!)
And for Disney Village you don't need a whole day. (Exept you are going to the Wild West Show and to the cinema) But if you only want to have a look in the shoops and have lunch/dinner you won't need more than 3 hours!

But you will have a great time in "our" Disneyland! pixiedust:

And if you want to walk to the parks you will need 10 minutes from the NPBC and the SL. And 5 minutes from Hotel New York. The bus goes every 10 minutes. But mostly you are faster by walking to the parks. And it is a very nice walk! :wave2:

Welcome to the DLP board :wave2:

Not much to choose between Sequoia Lodge and the Newport Bay - it mainly depends on what sort of decor you prefer. It may help to have look at these virtual visits

End of June should be great, and your plan to visit the parks during the week is spot on - DLP is much busier at weekends :thumbsup2

Thanks everyone!:lovestruc

I think we are going with the Newport Bay Hotel. It looks so pretty and it is reasonably priced. The Disneyland Hotel would be $1000 more for the 4 days! :headache:

Is the end of June, mid week crowded? And is three days enough time?

Three days was enough time in Disneyland but you need like two weeks at Disney World!

Thanks again!:goodvibes

NPC is an excellent hotel which as stated is well situated for the parks :)
