New to DIS boards and happy to be here!

Hi to all!!! I am new to these boards and very happy that I found this forum. I am a Disney fanatic and love to do anything that involves Disney. I am from New Jersey and live here with my wife of 15 years and our two children, ages 12 & 11. We took our first WDW vacation in 1994 when our children were 4 & 3 and have been back every year since and finally became DVC members last year (wish I had joined back in 1994). We took our first vacation as members this past Feb and had such a great time. We spent 5 days in WDW staying at the Villas at the WL and then took the 3 day cruise.......WOW!!!!!! What a blast!!!! We also stayed for 1 night at Hilton Head on our way home just to break up the ride. That was also beautiful! We're looking forward to Jan 2003 when we go again. We have our reservations for the WL but would like to change it to the BCV when I am able to in July. I know they have not opened yet, but has anyone caught a glimpse of them. I'm sure they're beautiful. Again, happy to be here.........Jim

I also recently became a member of DVC and I searched and searched for a good source of information on DVC. I was sure happy to find this site! Wow! Thanks Terry! I suddenly found myself getting all excited and anxious to go on vacation just looking at those pictures!

I had looked at other timeshare in Orlando, but nothing compares to DVC. The rooms are so nice, and it is just so special to actually be in the World! I cannot wait for the convenience of being able to take a break from Epcot, take a swim, let my daughter take a nap (or let Dad take a nap is probably more like it!), then go back for dinner!

I only wish I had known about the DVC four years ago!

Thanks to all for the great responses!! It really feels great to know that there are other Disney fans like myself out there. I am sure that I will be on here quite often checking it all out. And Terry from Michigan, thanks for that great link with the pictures of the BCV rooms - they really look beautiful. My wife Sandy will love them for sure! We hope to stay there in Jan. Anyone else going 1/17/03 to 1/25/03???? Cant wait til Jan!!!!
