New to designing

I hope this is ok to post this question here. I am thinking of buying PhotoShop for myself and doing some designs. Does anyone have any advice for a first timer? Any specific PhotoShop program? If I install it on my Macbook now and I get a new Macbook in March can I re-install it? I'd hate to re-purchase the same expensive software.

CS5 is the latest version of Adobe Photoshop. Once you buy it you own the serial so you can reinstall it with no problem.

Thanks! Your designs are great by the way. Were all your designs done with Photoshop? I am trying to do a crash course for door magnets in time for my cruise in 3 weeks.

Thanks and yes, Photoshop is the only thing i use. It's just incredible what you can do with it. If you need some tips feel free to PM me.
