My family (DH-38, DD-12, & Me-34) are heading down Nov 30 -Dec 5. I FINALLY convinced DH to try the Dining Plan for our 3rd trip to the World. I have made our ADR's but I am wondering how my plan sounds. So all you experienced people, lend your knowledge to a newbie. Here's my plan:
11/30 - Arrive at Disney around noon. Ck in. Eat Counter Service at Contemp
go to AK til 4:30-5:00 then head to Epcot. Dinner ressie at Coral Reef @ 7:50 but I arranged the for the Diver to give my DD a SURPRISE message so we were told to be there at 7:00. After dinner watch Illuminations. We have never seen them.
12/1 - Ressie at Chef Mickey's @ 10:05
go to DTD for some shopping...get snack at goofy's
go to HS for Osborne Lights.....dinner counter service
12/2 - Eat light breakfast - use snack - we are buying refillable mug
BBB appt for DD @ 9:10
Lunch ressie @ Crystal Palace @ 1:15
Rest in room. MVMCP that night. Counter service dinner
12/3 - snack for breakfast. Sci Fi ressie @ 12:50. Counter service dinner. Park hop this day MK morning...HS afternoon
12/4 - counter service breakfast...Park hop...Ak & EP..Dinner Ressie Rose & Crown @ 4:50. Watch fireworks from balcony with snack.
12/5 - Leave for home

They sound good.
My only thought is that you may not need two trips to AK and I would spend more time at EP. WS has some great entertainment and food and it is our favorite place to go and very relaxing.

BKfree,

I think you are right. We have been twice before and still have not made it all around the World Showplace. My daughter wants to finish her passport this time.

I am bringing $100 for tips. Do you think that is enough for the 5 TS meals I picked??? I tried to add up what I thought we would eat and do it that way but it is hard to guess.

If you are going to Ak arrival day may wan to try the Flame Tree BBQ for your counter, great ribs and bbq chicken.
Coral Reef great plase best NY strip steal and desserts .
Last Sept. and this June we had 7:30 ADR's for R & C and that is a perfect time to be there to get on the patio of Illuminations. At 4:50 you may be way done with the meal and have to leave. I would check on that. When we had the 7:30 ADR we were just getting dessert when it was time to go out to the patio, first time to R&C we were lucky and had a seat out on the patio. But CM takes you out if you have an inside seat. This is the best place to view Illuninations in my opinion.:cool1: :hippie:

I didn't even think of Illuminations...I will have to see if I can move that ressie. Thanks for the great tip!!

Kinda sad now we don't have R & C as one of are ADR's this Sept. But we do have some great ones. Also we have to get down there some time again when everything is decorated for Christmas. The Osborne Lights are great.

This will be our first Christmas trip and we are so excited to see the lights. We loved the Halloween party.
