New to collecting boards-just wanted to say hi

While I am not new to the boards, I have stayed away from this section because i thought it was just for pin traders.

I just wanted to introduce myself and say hi. I collect Eeyores and currently have close to 700 everything from pins to plush and clothing.

my dream is to have the worlds largest privatley held Eeyore collection, now I just need a bigger hoouse

I mostly lurk here, too, as my pin collection is very small and I don't do much in the way of trading. But I had to say hello from one Eeyore collector to another! My collection is all grey Eeyores, I refuse to buy the blue/purple ones (whoever heard of a blue donkey?) LOL!

Hey, who says the Collectors board is just for pin trading?????

It does seem that way at times since pins are THE popular Disney collectible right now, but this board is about all Disney collectibles.

DW Lauri (a.k.a. MeanLaureen the moderator) collects Eeyore stuff also -- watches, sweatshirts, t-shirts, plush, and mugs. As long as Disney keeps making Eeyore stuff, it'll be easy to buy her presents.

Welcome to the collector's board. We are a very diverse group of collectors here. Yes, pins are spoken of a lot, but you will find that most of us collect much more than just pins.

WELCOME TO THE COLLECTOR'S BOARD!!!! I think you'll find we all collect other thngs besides pins. I know there are snowglobe collectors, watch collectors, animation art collectors and others like you and me that collect themes. I collect almost anything with the Villains, Peter Pan, Nightmare Before X-mas and Marvin Martian (Yes, I know he is from the other guys ). that catches my eye or I feel is well done. I also have a good friend that is a big Eeyore fan. Please post about the other collectables. It is nice to talk about the other collectables out there.

So where in Atlanta do you hail from? I live in Flowery Branch. I'm an Eeyore fan as well as my friend Kristina who lives in Woodstock. We are both Disney nuts. I'm mostly a lurker on the boards. I have a newborn son, so I'm pretty busy. When I do post its usually writing with one hand. My husband is Tigger and I'm Eeyore, so we mostly collect these 2 characters. I also collect Mickey,Tinker Bell,Dumbo, and Bullseye. Welcome and maybe we will meet at a Dis gathering. I keep missing them(last one on 6th was DH's B-day).
